I watch as Shield agents cuff my father and put a muzzle on his mouth.
"Any last words, brother?" Uncle Thor asks. One of the shield agents goes back in front of my father and takes off the muzzle. Loki looks at me softly and nods. The avengers took several steps backward, to give me space with my father before he leaves for Asgard.
He knelt down in front of me, so that we were face to face. "Amelia." He murmured through the muzzle, I look away. "Amelia, please look at me." I looked up to see his green eyes meet my blue ones.
A tear slid down my cheek. I just got my father back, now he's being taken away for who knows how long.
My father sighed. "I'm sorry Amelia, for everything." He whispered. "I promise it will be the best father, for you." I smiled, at that. I hugged him not wanting to let go.
My breathe hitched in my throat. My gaze out of focus, and vision blurred from tears.
"I should've never done those things or put you in danger." He said. I clung on to him for the first and last time, letting the tears flow down on to his shoulder.
"I love you, dad." I whisper as I stepped away from my father. Uncle Thor picked me up in his arms. "We must be going, Amelia." Uncle Thor said, squeezing me to death. I squirmed out of his grasp and went over to my father, wrapped my arms around him for the second to last time.
"Be good, Amelia." He said to me. I looked up at him smiling with a knowing look, he knew that it won't be a promise.
He looked me in the eyes and whispered, "I love you, too."
I stepped back and gave Thor one last hug before going by Tony. I watched as my uncle and father disappear in a blue light from the tesseract. When the light cleared they were gone. Tony and I said our goodbyes to everyone else and got in the car, along with Bruce. I got in the back while Tony and Bruce in the front.
"Are we rebuilding Stark Tower?" I asked him.
"Yes." He replied speeding down the street.
"Then we are building it with less floors." I said. He looked at me through his sun glasses.
"Fine." He grumbled, turning back to the road. Bruce and I just laughed at his immaturity.
Maybe, just maybe I'll see my father again some day.
