chapter one prologue

It was a beautiful day and one of the megacities on Earth was a quite peaceful day filled with kids playing in the Parks birds flying overhead and ships dropping off resources to the builders.

I took a sip of my water as I sat inside my apartment looking up at the sky while I was on my balcony I was smiling.

"Who knew even in the future things could be beautiful"

I say to myself happily as I get up and go back inside rubbing one of my glasses out of the drawer and filling it up with some medicine I drink it all as I feel refreshed I go back to the balcony and grab my water.

I went back inside once more as I put it inside the sink I coughed a little but that was just a side effect of the medicine I then sat down on my couch I turned on the TV when I suddenly heard screaming and felt the apartment shaking I quickly got up.

I then ran outside onto the balcony and looked towards the sky my jaw dropped the empire ... But it was just one ship spewing out gas poison gas I quickly went to my room put on my suit grabbed my rifle and other things putting them on my back as I quickly go downstairs to one everybody as I do the gas started to seek in I heard screams and crying children calling for their mothers I kicked open one of the doors so I could save a few but none of them were alive I started panicking.

My oxygen status was getting low I would then question myself "How is this possible I just had Max oxygen a minute ago... To be quick I have to get to one of the rockets or bunkers".

I quickly ran outside of the apartment it was quick as it was only two stories high I froze for a little as I saw bodies on the ground decaying instantly women and children on the ground lifeless I quickly shaped my head and ran as I was panicking I tripped over bodies.

I eventually ran to a bunker but to my horror, it was already dead inside I saw one of the signs on it saying breached...

I quickly began money for one of the rockets I started trying to use my suit to try to conserve oxygen as it replaced it with the filtered toxins that would only last a few as this will make a person sick if it hailed for too long.

I put my palm onto one of the hand scanners as it wasn't going quickly enough I started panicking and eventually opened up after 2 minutes I was almost out of oxygen and the filtered toxins starting to take a toll on me I quickly got inside As it sealed the gas could again in as it was airtight. I quickly took off my stuff and started to pressurize everything taking off the toxins I quickly took a breath of filtered air as I quickly went to the control panel and activated as we started to take off I strapped myself into one of the chairs it took off I looked at the planet through when the cameras inside of the ship it was all over Earth only a few survived I saw you going left some right some straight I was going Southwest...

As we were now gone from Earth the ship continued to fly through space I started bawling my eyes out...

"Why...I thought the fucking war was over fuck fuck!...".

I got up as I was gripping my fist I looked around for anything it was a standard civilian ship only with enough supplies to last about 10 years.

Well, enough to survive as ships like these usually have to last about hundreds before we can get to another planet or even solar system I decided to go into one of the cryogenic pods as I got inside, and tried to set the date to 100 it started glitching out I started panicking and banging on the glass as it sealed... 9,000 years oh FUCK M-

Before I could even finish my sentence I fell asleep as the cold consumed me I was lifeless inside the pod as memories were in my head I was in a Frozen like a Coma.
