Author’s POV:-
It’s a bright sunny day, sun was peeping into house disturbing sleep of all family members.
It was 8 in the morning and whole house was filled with aroma of different food items prepared by elder ladies of the house. All men were in garden having their morning tea. Kids came down with their sleepy eyes.
Janu:- “ good morning, bacho had a good sleep.”
“Yes mom” said laya and athrav, “yes aunty” Vinay, Nisha and Vivek said.
Ani:- “ ok kids did you get freshen up, if not then go and get we will have breakfast and then we will go for outing.”
All kids ran towards their room to get freshen up. At the same time all men came in.
Nani :- “ so what’s for breakfast.”
Lav :- “ idli with coconut chutney.”
Nani :- “ what, that’s it you guys did not do anything else.”
Lav:- “ of course no, if you want you can have it, if not u can leave.”
Nani :- “ guys, it’s not fair, you know, I don’t like it right, then.”
Janu:- “ that’s why we made it.”
Every one laughed at once.
Nani:- “ very funny, janu I thought you would support me at least, I am really hurt.”
Adarsh:- “ ok guys enough of our fights come let’s have breakfast, kids are also here.”
Everyone had their breakfast and went for outing. They went to many places and had a lot of fun. All return to home and sat in living area.
Athrav: - “ janu maa, it’s story time. Please continue yesterday's story, please.”
All children started shouting “please”
Janu: - “ok, ok, I will tell, but before that let's prepare dinner together.”
Lav: - “yeah, let’s go and make dinner and have it together. I am so hunger.”
Nani: - “that you would always be. Say something new.”
Lavanya was about to say something, but Ram interrupt her and spoke, “Stop it guys let's go.”
After that they prepared dinner and had it by some chit chats and teasing. After having dinner, every one sat in garden.
All kids:- “ janu ma please tell the story now. Please. ”
Janu :- “ ok I will start now. ”
Flashback:-
So, days went on like this, we made a lot of memories and had a lot of fun. We use to attend every event that takes place in our college and take many pics and learn a lot of new lessons from those events. Eventually my birthday came.
As usually I woke up early and my mom did the same ritual she does every time on my birthday day, before I go to get freshen up. Later I got ready, took blessings from mom and dad. My family gifted me a beautiful set of bangles, they are so beautiful.
After that I went to college, there my friends gifted me beautiful gifts.
Rena :- “ janu, here is your gift for your birthday, happy birthday.”
Janu :- “ thank you so much guys, it means a lot to me. Can I open it.”
Vidhi :- “ of course you can.”
I un packed the gift it was beautiful magic mirror with my photo. I was so moved by it.
Rani :- “ janu, this is from me, hope you like it.”
Janu :- “ thanks Rani, I will surely like it.”
I opened it, it’s a cute Radha Krishna idol.
Janu :- “ wow, Rani it’s so cute, I love it thank you so much.”
Rani :- “ your welcome, now tell us what is the party.”
Janu :- “ your wish, where were you guys want to go, we will go there.”
Vidhi:- “ there is an ice cream parlour nearby shall we go there.” Janu :- “ ok, we will go after completion of classes.”
Our conversation got interrupted as mam came in and started taking class. The day went on with classes and our fun of course. It was evening, we had to go to an ice cream parlour, I am damn confused about whom to take with me, whom not.
