As expected, the evening rolled around pretty fast with a large ominous moon taking over the spot of a merciless burning sun and allowing the air to become way more easier to breathe in with the whole atmosphere in general becoming peaceful and tranquil further adding to the already pleasant night.
The mansion stood far away in the distance, no longer appearing welcoming and vibrant as it was several hours prior. Now it looked more like a building straight from a gothic horror novel which, in all honesty, was meant to be like originally considering who lives there.
Speaking of which, the reason why this place looked so desolated and vacant is because most of the residents are active after nightfall completing and satisfying their deep dark urges for blood and organized criminal. Those last few who stayed behind are either sick, injured, tired or just not feeling up to committing a heinous crime. But considering the size of the house they all stay in, they are practically insignificant compared to how many rooms are built there.
So those lucky few had a whole residence to themselves to go wild in.
Natasha happens to be among those few considering she's neither a serial killer, rapist or a robber of any kind. All she did was enjoy the break from a usually hectic schedule and actually take time to worry about herself for once. She permitted herself straight to the pool area curious in seeing how this place looks like when it's completely void of any and all people.
The initial view was most certainly one worth of voluptuous praising. With a moon high up in it's peak, the white strong light reached everywhere, especially around the pools. It reflected itself calmly in a pure undisturbed water appearing like it got stuck at the bottom of the pool. The only noise was created by the crickets somewhere in the distance further adding to the surreal scenery.
But the most ear catching detail had to be the fact everything was rarely peaceful.
The female sighed relieved being satisfied she finally has the whole space for herself without any thirsty gawking idiots staring at her like she's some silly zoo animal put on display. No, she was completely alone and content with that fact. Or so she thought.
/..../
After some time filled with bathing and splashing to cool down and relax, Natasha sat at the edge of the pool allowing the water to completely soak her feet eating out any and all accumulated stress from the busy day. Currently she was looking up at the sky staring deeply focused at the stars stubbornly trying to count them all, but it proved difficult, but it proved to be difficult after first fifty or so attempts to achieve that.
If she wasn't so engrossed on a task at at hand, she'd hear the glass door being opened from behind her and a pair of sneaky footsteps approaching her position. Only after a soft chuckle came from this person did she finally decide to acknowledge them. The lack of any stronger light source made it very difficult to recognize this person, but after a few seconds of adjusting one's eye sight it became quite obvious who they were.
Small frail posture, somewhat long unkept blond hair, an everlasting need to wear green and permanently red cheeks whether it was caused by his strange eye condition or something entirely different. "Ben? What are you doing here?" - the female replied clearly surprised to see him.
They haven't seen or heard from one another ever since the whole strip show from a while back. Honestly it feels like it happened a whole century ago even though it's only been a couple of days at most. This should not come off as a major surprise since the entire residence is enormous and one can put off visiting to certain areas of the house for as long as they wish so with no trouble at all.
