So, Louis might have flown off the handle...

He had all these mental vows of making Harry's last night here special, to give him something he'd remember him by. So that when Harry looks back at this phase of life, he'll recall having a friend who loves him more than he's allowed to know. His heart desired to make this night memorable but he said her name and Louis saw red.

Ivy hadn't been in touch with Harry that much, they had slowly stopped talking a year after they broke up- is what Harry kept telling Louis each time he brought it up. He had claimed that she had even stopped acknowledging Harry's presence as she walked past him in the corridor, even before she got a new boyfriend. Not only this, but he also recalls Harry whining to him that "she even refused to come sit with me in the bleachers in your match... I think I'd be bothering her if I continued talking to her." Evidently, Louis was being lied to. This pissed him off to no limits. Harry had no justified reason to lie to him like that when Louis had never said anything that might led Harry to believe that he was unhappy with them being together. Whether he was unhappy with them being together or not, it was a whole other story!

Did Ivy not like him being friends with Harry because she knew he was gay? Worse! She most likely had figured out he was attracted to Harry....

Albeit she had been nothing but genial to Louis but that's exactly how he thinks his soccer buddies had been to Harry when they all started hanging out a few years ago.

Regardless of that (now that he has come down from his state of tremendous infuration), he'll acknowledge that Harry doesn't owe him anything. No explanations. Definitely not an authority over whom he gets to talk to. Moreover, Harry mentioning Zayn, Niall and Liam in such a condescending tone made him alarmed. Had they not been welcoming to him? There is no way Louis could be so blind to them (supposedly) mistreating Harry.

Had Louis been so engrossed in grieving that he'd never be with Harry- that he began overlooking their friendship and thought it was okay to lose him as a friend?

If any of these things are true, he needs to know it before Harry leaves the town.

With rushed steps, Louis kept scurrying ahead till a head of curls was in his range of sight. He was sitting on a pale green bench with his head in his hands. Unaware of his onlooker, he was sitting in the corner of the bench. He looked so restful yet so in pain. As he walked closer, he stepped on a dry leaf that made Harry's head shoot up in alarm. Harry scowled at him and Louis shrugged, feeling like he deserved that.

Louis crept closer to Harry and he could no longer pretend that he wasn't hearing his quiet sniffling. Harry stoically commanded him to sit beside him and he obliged. Louis bravely sat in the middle of the bench, leaving space for at least two people on his right and Harry almost huddled in the extreme left. He has no business looking like a dampened angry puppy! He looked at him with glossy, cold eyes that made Louis' stomach twist in knots. He lowered his head and sighed at the lack of thoughts. They sat there wordlessly- just a few inches between them. The zipper ride was in front of them. The copper color was a very bold choice for lights. That being said, Louis could see it highlighting the frame of the ride. The stationary ride looked like a marvel on its own. The durable, oblong frame had twelve flipping cars attached to its axis. The cars were secured in a cage to prevent injuries. Oh, this ride....

It's too quiet for his likening until 1,2,3 and-

"Say something, you're boring me," Harry spat at him in an angsty tone. Louis got a whiplash from how fast he turned his neck to face the groaning boy. Mustering some courage, Louis looked him in the eyes and smiled softly, almost in a welcome of his feistiness.
