"ROGUE?!?!???!??!!" I immediately put on my suit before she can see me.

"U-uh yeah that's me. How do you know my name?" Rogue asks

"Uh.... That's a great question.... Hahaha...." Fuck I shouldn't have screamed her name.

"Anyways... my name is Rogue and I'll be joining the team."

"Alright team you'll be able to see their powers in our next training session but for now get some rest and be on standby whenever we need you." Tony says while getting up. "You two can go to your rooms and set yourselves up. Anyways Caio!"

"Alright I'm going to get out of here Wanda I still got school tomorrow, don't tell Rogue that it's me, I made a fool of myself." I tell Wanda quietly.

"You got it, though I don't know why you want to hide it but I won't say anything, my lips are sealed. Have a good night though." Wanda says while giving my armor a kiss on the cheek.

"..... yeah bye.... Have a good night." I say walking away like an old robot.

"I totally saw that dude. Didn't know you had more than one lady in your life." Danny says pulling up next to me.

"She is not my lady Danny, and hey make sure you don't tell Rogue that I'm the one in the suit, I don't know why but I don't want her to know right now."

"Yeah yeah I got you buddy. I'll see you at school tomorrow."

I go up to the roof and prepare to fly back home.

"Hey wait!"

I look behind me and it's the new girl. I believe "Jessica Cruz?"

"That's my name don't wear it out haha. Anyways I was just heading out myself and I wanted to get to know my teammates so I thought I'd fly together with you if that's alright."

"Yeah I don't mind. I'd like to get to know you too, I know Tony said that you are from space or something similar, that's pretty cool."

I let out my wings and float up. Jessica follows up with some kind of green aura around her and she starts floating too.

"Yeah it's technically this ring that's from space, I'm just a normal person. The way it works is the ring chooses people with great willpower and then attaches to their finger to give them the power of the green lantern."

"That is pretty sick, what can you do with it?" I say curiously.

"A lot of things, I can basically make constructs of whatever I can imagine and fight with that. It's not unlimited though, after all certain amount of time I have to charge the ring with a lantern."

"Oh that's why you guys are called the green lanterns. That's kind of funny haha."

"Yeah it's right on the nose, honestly having this power to help people is great but it's not actually so simple... having great willpower means to overcome great fear and I've been dealing with the fear that I'm not good enough and may not save all the lives that need to be saving." She says looking at the city.

"Hey don't worry I feel that too, I'm new to this whole thing and even though the power is nice and I feel like I can do anything, I know that's actually not possible. There may be times when we can't save every life we come across but I think the power we get from learning that lesson and trying to help as much as we can to the best of our ability gives us more strength. At the end of the day it's one more person that doesn't go home in a body bag. But what do I know I'm still new to this."
