Chapter 2

Vincents pov:

The.doctors.and.my moms.kept me.in the.hospital for.a.few days....i mean.seriously..i feel fine! I can breathe...and..i was pretty pissed off that i couldnt go to that party i was invited.to...i mean...it would.of been nice and fun.....i guess ill just have to wait till.next time.....if there even.is a next time...my.moms.didnt tell the school about my.lungs because they wanted to.go.with my plan of being a normal kid....well...now thats all changed...they told the.school. and now my gym teacher has to make sure that im fine.and.everything..and.i heard that I'll need.some teacher that will always be.by me to see if im breathing fine....THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I DIDNT WANT!...i sighed and layed in my bed finally i was home...and tomarrow.is school.....i let out a long.sigh and.decided to read a book. After awhile.i got bored of it.and went downstairsto the kitchen

"Hey mommy whats for.dinner?" I call my more motherly figure.mommy and my dad figure mom...i dont know why...just easier.. she turned to me smiling

"Im makng tacos!" I smiled "cool!" Scott.gave me.his number...when he wanted me to go to that party....hmmm.........i wonder if we could hang out or something, he also gave me fritz number.....i shrugged and decided to ask.if we could meet.up at the park. Scott said he had to study abd fritz said sure. I told him after dinner ill.ask if i could go. 

After dinner i asked and my mom said it was fine. I smiled.and then went to the park. When.i.got there i saw fritz standing by a tree. I saw another tall.figure sitting.on a bench by him. Fritz saw me and.called me.over. then he ran to the other guy and.grabbed him up by his arm. I walked over smilibg "hey." He smiled and i.looked.over to the guy...it was scott. I stared at him confused and he sighed

"I was dragged here against my will and probably will fail my test or not.get a good grade on it which will lead to me getting grounded.and my.phone.and.all.other objects except my text books to be taken away and.me.locked.in.a.room reading.only those text books.but hey! Its all.good." he glared at fritz.and.fritz.rolled.his eyes "yeah yeah whatever...hmmm...lets have a race!" I smiled

"YEAH!...uh..to.where?" Scott looked at me "are...you sure you can be running? I mean...i dont want anything happening and-"

"JUST BECAUSE I HAVE PROBLEMS WITH MY LUNGS DOESNT MEAN.I CANT DO WHAT EVERYONE.ELSE CAN DO!" I glared at him and he backed away a bit shocked "o-ok...i was just wondering.."  i huffed and looked at fritz "where to?" He smiled "oh just to that fence over there and back." I kooked to where he was pointing.....that fence is pretty far away....i can barely run a mile withought having to take breaks...... i looked at him and.was about.to tell him it.was to far but....that would prove scott right that i cant.run...i huffed and looked at fritz "can we make.it a bit shorter?"

"Why you a chicken?" I stared at him "no."

"Come on fritz stop it.dont taunt him. Its probably to far and he doesnt want to end.up.in the hospital again" i looked at scott "ok fine ill run there and back!" He stared at me "you have to much pride.dont you...." i glared at him "i can run there and back and be fine." He stared at me "you sure?" I nodded "of course i can..like i said, anything anyone else can do i can do to." He sighed and fritz laughed "hey come on scott. The kid knows his limits if he doesn't think he can do it he will tell us." I looked down for a  second and then up at fritz "ready," he said and smirked. I stared at him and then.nodded "ready!" He laughed and then scott gave the go and.we started the race. I made.sure.i took a slow pace so that i wouldnt.be.out.of.breathe that fast and soon made it to the fence. And then picked.up my.pace i made.it.infront of fritz and then sat down panting. Fritz stared at me shocked "woah.........i didnt.expect that.....your pretty fast for someone.who has problems.with his lungs". I rolled my eyes and still sat there trying to catch my breathe. After awhile it started to become harder to breathe and i had to.force myself.not.to.panic. fritz crouched down next to me.and.so.did.scott. i looked at them confused until scott spoke.up "hey..are you ok? You did run pretty fast.... " i just rolled my eyes and soon caught my breathe. "Yeah im fine." He smiled and fritz stood up "aaalright! Lets go see if we can sneak in a club or somthing." Scott shook his head "nah....lets just go back home so i can study, vincent can sleep cause he looks.tired and you can do whatever the fuck you want ok?" I shook my head "how about we all watch a movie?" Scott sighed "alright but im paying. Then we go home...ok?" We all nodded and chose a.movie then went to the movie theater. 

Scotts pov: 

About a minute into the.movie fritz left cause he was bored. So me and vincent watched the movie. After awhile i felt somthing lean on my shoulder and i looked over to see vincent passed out. I blushed and went back to watching the movie. Soon it ended and i tried to wake him up but...he wouldnt budge. I sighed and picked him up but as i got to the exit i quickly put him down letting him lean against me...there were some kids from.school.and.if they saw me carrying him...he'd probably be embarrassed. I let them pass and finally vincent woke up. We walked to the car and he got into the back curling up into a ball and falling asleep. I stared at him and blushed...hes cute when hes sleeping....i shook my.head clearing my thoughts and started driving. When we stopped at a red light i shook him awake "wanna spend the.night at my house? Or go home?" He stared at me and blinked a few times "i dont care....i just want to sleep...." i laughed

"At your house or mine?" He yawned stretching "i guess yours..if its fine with our parents...." i smiled "I'll ask your mom's when i take you home ok?" He nodded and we got.to his house i asked.and they said it was fine so.he got a pair of  clothes and then we went to my house. I took him to my room and got a extra mattress "ok so you can sleep on the matress, on the bed, or floor ok? Let me just make up my bed-"

"I choose floor." I stared at him "oh...ok." he sat on the matress and looked around i layed on my.bed and closed my eyes. I felt some one get in the bed with me.and.saw vincent..."um.......what are you doing?" He looked up at me "sleeping.....i.dont want the floor anymore....can i sleep sith you? Thanks." I stared at him and sighed "alright.....whatever....." 

it was obvious i was blushing a bit but.....i was trying.to hide it. he crawled into the bed and snuggled.into my back. my blush deepened and i looked over to see he fell back asleep.....hes really cute.......
