I'm not really sure where my story really begins.
Was it right now? Weeks before I'm due to start my senior year of high school where I've been forced to move to Odaiba in Japan with my 'aunt' and 'uncle' after being kicked out by my parents? Maybe, but there's a lot of events leading up to this moment.
Does it begin at summer camp back in 99? The summer where myself and my new acquaintances stumbled (well, fell rather) into the digital world. Probably. That's when everything changed.
But the story of my life mainly seemed to evolve after that summer. It was during that summer that I learned that Izzy, my 'cousin' was actually my half brother. That was definitely the biggest revelation of my life, and it's when a lot of things began to make sense, mainly my mother's coldness towards me as I was growing up. She wasn't my mother after all.
Good things happened that summer, too. I made a few new friends, even though we went through a traumatic experience you bond in a way you don't normally bond with people. I may not have gotten along well with Tai and Matt, but the rest of the group were great. I still keep in regular contact with Sora through the internet, but every now and again I'll email Mimi and Joe to receive updates about their lives.
But I wouldn't have even been a digidestined if I didn't witness the events at Highton View Terrace a few years prior to that summer.
I guess that's where the story begins...
