I look at myself. Good thing I still have a strength last night to clean myself up before going to bed despite of being tipsy and tired.

I tie my hair into a bun so I can wash my face. Nag-toothbrush na rin. I didn't bother to comb my hair. Andito lang naman ako sa bahay.

Its nine in the morning. Lumabas ako ng kwarto at dumiretso sa kusina. The house is quiet. On my way to the kitchen, I prepared myself for an answer kung papagalitan man ako ni Mommy.

Pinalibot ko ang tingin sa may sala, no one's there. Pumasok ako ng kitchen, I only found yaya.

I smiled. "Good morning. Sina Mommy?"

"Maaga pong umalis sila Ma'am at Sir.

Mom doesn't know I went out last night.

Yup. Coffee is life for me. I always drink coffee in the morning, it somehow gives me energy. I think most college students agree with it.

"Thanks, ya." I said as I blow the hot coffee.

She knows that I only drink coffee in the morning at lunch and dinner lang ako kumakain ng meal.

Yaya has been working for us since I was in high school kaya kilala na niya ako, kami. We don't always  interact because she's busy with the house and I am busy with school but even so, kung may kailangan ako, I always go to her. Hindi naman siya matanda. I think, she's just few years older than my mom. I know she have a family of her own at nasa probinsya iyon. Mom gives her a week of day off every six months to go to her family.

A happy yaya makes my mom happy. And a happy mommy, makes our life easier. I grinned with the thought.

Well, we do value her. We already considered her as part of our family since she's the only one who stayed with us for so long.

Napapikit ko ng ininom ko ang kape. This is heaven. I don't need to drink medicine for headaches, I just need coffee.

I stayed in the kitchen, feeling the peacefulness and feeling happy since mom doesn't know about last night and she's not her to scold me.

They're here.

I know they will come here para uminom ng tubig. My eyes went to Kuya Arthur since he's the one in front and then to his friends. Kasunod niya si Kuya Matthew, Kuya Lorenz and Ethan.

The nosy one.

They all look at me when they notice me sitting on the counter with a coffee on the table. They are all wearing jersey shirts and shorts. Sumipol si Kuya Matthew. Well, that's what he always do. Sa kanilang apat, siya iyong malandi.
