Chapter two: Neighbors

       I woke up for school that morning, my dad wasn't home, I figured he was prolly still out clubbing. Ive been getting so tired of his Bs, this was the reason mom divorced him. His alcohol abuse has gotten worse since the divorce, and now i see different women dropping him off back at the house every late night/early morning. I'm not happy with my home situation right now, but it's better than how some people are living. Me and my dad decided to rent a house by the beach after mom left us, and even though i liked my home in Montana, i had no friends, and that house brought back a lot of bad memories of my parents fighting. So far i've liked life in California, but today i was just having a rough time. So i decided to take the bus this morning, I was too tired and burnt out to walk to school.

At lunch i sat with Micheal again, Rebekah was nowhere to be seen. I was secretly pretty bummed out, because i wanted to talk to her again and get to know her better.(I prolly sounded so creepy.) Me, Michael, Phoebe and Julia all sat together, Todays random topic was, "The Twilight Saga."

"So in my opinion Jacob is a total hunk and i think he is TOTALLY the one for Bella." Julia stated. Phoebe was absolutely bamboozled by this and shouted, "Oh my God you're kidding me right? Edward is so much more emotionally intelligent than Jacob and is always so understanding of bella's emotions. And did you even see the way he forcefully kissed her in the Eclipse movie? so disgusting."  "Exactly Edward is ten times more gentlemanly than jacob, jacob was a self centered ass who only cared about his own feelings and didn't give a damn about how Bella felt, Where Edward was literally willing to give up Bella he loved her so much, he let her chose between Jacob and him, Jacob didn't give her a choice." Micheal replied. Julia simply rolled her eyes at the two and asked me, "So Levi, u team Edward or Jacob?" I paused for a moment then replied, "I'm sorry Julia but i think I gotta go with Phoebe and Micheal on this one, Edward was a lot more Emotionally Available in my opinion." julia simply replied, "losers." in a joking voice.

    I got home from school that evening and my dad told me to take the trash out for him, He was prolly too drunk to do it himself. I replied,"Ugg fine." with an attitude. I was at school for 8 hours and he was home all day sleeping and didn't take the time to take out the trash. It wasn't even a big deal, It was just that he had no respect for me, yet he demanded all the respect from me.

When I was taking out the trash I saw Rebekah next door, picking up trash and putting it back in a bag. I was exited to see her, so i rushed over there and asked, "Hey! need a little help?" "Oh my gosh Levi! I didn't expect to see you here! What brings you this way!" She asked. "I live right next door to you I guess and we just never knew." I replied with a laugh. "Wow that's so cool!" I nodded and got on the ground to help her pick up the garbage. "Thank you for helping, stupid me drug the trash bag through the concrete and the bag split." She said. "Don't worry about it, I do stupid stuff like that all the time." I replied. She laughed in return. "So um, i didn't see you in school today, everything alright?" I asked her. "Oh yeah im fine, I just wasn't feeling too good today so My mom said I should probably just stay home."She stated. "Ahh gotcha, well it's cool that we live so close together, it'd be cool if we could hang out sometime."I replied. "It would! Maybe we could go roller skating this weekend, the new rink just opened up." She said. "That would be fun! How about I pick you up at six a clock Friday night?" I asked. "Yeah that'll work!" She replied. "Sounds good!" I stated. I finished picking up the garbage and said, "Well i should prolly head back inside or my dad might think im going on a walk to avoid doing homework, so i'll see you later neighbor." I said. "Okay well it was nice talking to you! see you Friday 'neighbor'!" She replied with a giggle. I headed back inside with a wide smile on my face.

I couldn't freaking wait for Friday.
