It was February 14, valentine's day. You just finish writing your love letter to akaashi keji, one of fukurodani's most popular boys, yes he was athletic as well as extremely eye catching, but you didn't fall for him just for looks and public status.
You fell for him because of his warm and welcoming demeanor, as well as the good deed he did for you many months ago.
It was a cold gloomy day, he found you stuck under the bus stop, head down on your knees. You had gotten stuck under the bus stop because of the heavy rain. He walked you home and made sure you were fed and well before dropping you off.

You get out of your seat and walk out of the classroom, starting to walk to the gym where akaashi's practice match ends.
You wait for him as his teammates exit the building, akaashi was no where to be seen, you thought maybe he was cleaning up so you waited a bit longer.
sitting on a bench you put your head phones in and press play, "pretty girl" by clario start playing as you start day dreaming, you start thinking of what you and akaashi's future would look like, oh how much you hope he'll feel the same way and give you chance.
finally akaashi walks out of the gym, bokuto following right next to him. you smile as you get up from your seat and walk over to the two.
"hellloooo l/n" bokuto greets. "hi bokuto!!" you smile "mind if i borrow akaashi?" you ask, "of course" he giggles as he walks off ahead, hmm maybe he knew what was gonna happen.
