love struck us both
playing us like tunes
striking the strings
to our nerves
just as cupid went on flying above
oh, cupid
must have saw something in us
but, he didn't see the consequences
Love struck us both
like arrows sent from heaven
but it went straight through our bodies
oh, cupid
he was an angel
from the earth's ground
who went sending signals
to our hearts
but, how could cupid know
we were meant to be
when he was blind
