Title: The Promised Neverland: The Play

Scene 1

(The stage is dimly lit. The set represents a dormitory room with bunk beds neatly arranged. EMMA, a bright and cheerful girl, wakes up on one of the lower bunk beds. She stretches and yawns, then looks around the room.)

EMMA: (cheerfully) Good morning, everyone! It's time to get up or you'll be late for breakfast.

(Silence. No one responds.)

EMMA: (frowning slightly) Come on, guys, rise and shine! Don and Gilda, you two are always the last ones up.

(DON, a mischievous boy, stirs in his bed, but doesn't wake up. GILDA, a thoughtful girl, also begins to stir.)

EMMA: (walking over to Don's bed and shaking him gently) Don, wake up. We need to get ready for the day.

DON: (grumbling) Five more minutes, Emma. It's too early.

EMMA: (playfully) We don't have five more minutes, lazybones. If we don't hurry, Mama will scold us for being late again.

(Gilda sits up in her bed, rubbing her eyes.)

GILDA: (sleepily) Is it morning already? I feel like I just fell asleep.

EMMA: (smiling) Time flies when you're having fun, Gilda. But now it's time to start another exciting day at Grace Field House.

(As Emma speaks, a group of YOUNGER CHILDREN start to emerge from their beds, looking up to Emma with admiration.)

YOUNG CHILD 1: Emma, can you help me tie my shoes?

YOUNG CHILD 2: Me too, Emma!

EMMA: (grinning) Of course, I can help.

(Emma kneels down and starts to help the younger children put on their shoes, chatting with them as she does.)

EMMA: Did you all have good dreams last night?

YOUNG CHILD 3: I dreamt about flying!

EMMA: Flying sounds like fun. Maybe one day, we'll all fly away from here together.

(The younger children giggle, their innocence contrasting with the underlying tension of their situation.)

(Don finally gets out of bed, still groggy.)

DON: (grumbling) Why do we have to be up so early anyway?

EMMA: (chuckling) Because Mama says so, Don. Now hurry up and get dressed. I'll meet you both downstairs for breakfast.

(Emma leaves the room wuth the two children following her, and Don and Gilda slowly begin to get ready for the day, their expressions showing tiredness from waking up so early)

Title: Escape from Grace Field House

Scene 2

(The stage transitions to the dining area of Grace Field House. The set depicts a long dining table with benches on either side. NORMAN and RAY, Emma's best friends, are setting the table for breakfast. EMMA enters with the younger children following behind her.)

EMMA: (leading the younger children) Here we are, everyone. Breakfast time!

YOUNG CHILD 1: I'm hungry, Emma!

EMMA: (smiling) I know, I know. Let's get seated, and Mama will bring out the food soon.

(Emma helps the younger children find their seats, chatting with them as they settle in. Meanwhile, Norman and Ray finish setting the table and turn to greet Emma.)
