"I'm watching you.""I know where you live."
Jungkook sighed as he deleted the messages that kept popping up on his phone. He blocked the number as well.
This was the millionth number he'd had to block since becoming an idol due to reasons like this. People getting his number and then messing with him. At this point it didn't bother him all that much because he was so used to it. He'd learned over the years that it was usually pretty harmless. People would annoy him and then when they realized he wouldn't reply they'd simply go away and leave him alone. It happened to all of the members.
He didn't mention it to his members because he figured it didn't matter all that much. They will go away. It's not like the messages are scary or anything.
He wondered how people got his phone number in the first place but figured he must've mis-clicked on something that gave it away, or someone knew someone who knew someone, etc. Whatever the reason, all he could do was continue to block, delete, and move on.
Which was easy at first, because after he had deleted those first few messages and blocked the random number, his phone was clean for a while. Nobody was bothering him. Except Jin hyung who is always yapping in the group chat. I should block his number next!
It had been another normal day of rehearsals, interviews, and pre-recordings. The members spent their break time lounging around and eating snacks. Yoongi brought up how he'd recently been getting texts from a random number, which piqued Jungkook's interest, and as he was about to mention that he has too, Yoongi told them the number turned out to be a cousin he hadn't spoken to in a while and he was excited for them to get back in touch. The maknae slumped his shoulders as he felt like now he didn't want to mention the random messages on his phone, as it wasn't an as exciting of a story.
After a long day's work the members were heading back home when more messages popped up on Jungkook's phone, this time from a different number than the previous one.
"I can't wait until we get married."
"Because I am the ONLY one you're going to marry. I will make sure of that."
Jungkook furrowed his brows at his phone. What the hell?
Before he even had time to think or process what he'd just read, more messages from that number popped up.
"You didn't reply to my messages the other day??"
"I know this is you, Jungkook. Don't ignore your girlfriend."
"Like I said before, I know where you live."
The maknae gulped when he realized the messages had to be from the same person he'd already blocked a few days ago. So they're not going to go away that easily?
Hobi caught his attention as he tapped his shoulder. "You okay? You look like you've seen a ghost."
Jungkook put his phone down, "I'm fine, hyungie." He still didn't want to tell his members about it. He felt like it was either one, pointless to tell them because there was nothing they could do anyways, or two, it would worry them a lot and he didn't want that either. He didn't want to ruin their peace of mind over his own personal affairs. Hobi's comment made the rest of the members in the car turn to the youngest.
"Well, you tell us if something is bothering you, okay?" said Namjoon.
"Of course, you know I would." Jungkook went silent, trying to hide the fact he was lying. Maybe not this time, though. This is just nothing, right?
