I got back to the house an hour and a half later. When I stepped into the house, I saw that fuck-face was waiting for me in my father's chair and his boots were again, on the coffee table. He literally fell out of the chair once I shut the door behind me.

"Where the hell were you?! I was so damn worried! Why the hell would you just leave like that?!" Asher grabbed both of my shoulders and shook me.

"Why were you so worried? You hardly know me, and by the way, you are incredibly annoying. Oh, and what the hell have I told you about propping those stupid boots on the coffee table." I wiggled out of his hands and took a step back.

"Look, until you get to Elemental Academy, you are my responsibility, and not only that, I have to get you there by tonight or your body will reject your change." He saw the look on my face when he said reject the change, and added, "I can't explain everything right now, we need to get you out of here, Spirit."

Asher really looked concerned for my safety. I sighed, feeling a little sorry for acting the way I have when I just got home. I mean, he wouldn't be waiting for me to get home if he didn't care, and it does make sense that he would be responsible of me since he marked me and all. This day is just way to confusing to me.

"Ok, Spirit, we already have all of your stuff loaded up. Now, get your ass outside. We need to go, like three hours ago." He said, basically pushing me out the door.

"Ok, ok. Don't push me out, I know how to use the door." I paused by the door.

"If you know how to "use the door," than why aren't you opening it?" He made a gesture to the door, and gave me an annoying look. I sighed, and opened the door. We both exited the house, and headed toward his Crotchrocket. He sat down on the seat, and patted the seat behind him.

"Where are the helmets....?" I asked crossing my arms uncomfortably. He let a huge laugh.

"Oh, you're one of those people!" My face turned bright red with anger, which made him laugh even harder.

"I'm serious! I refuse to get on this motorcycle without a helmet! I don't want to die!" This time he fell off his bike, rolling around with laughter.

"Fuck you, Asher!" I yelled at him. His eyes got big, as he got up and looked at me. My dad chose to roll down his window at the point.

"Honey, do we have a problem?" My father asked looking back and forth at Asher and me.

"No! We're good!" We both said in unison, and glared at each other.

"Okay..... we should probably start heading toward our destination." He said, again looking at both of us.

"Ok dad, just a second, I need to speak to Asher privately." My father gave a nod, then rolled up his window. I turned my attention back to Asher.

"I'm sorry, I was just messing with you, and I took it to far. I have the helmets under the seat." Asher released the hatch on the seat, and pulled out two helmets. He handed one to me, and strapped his on. I strapped mine on as well. He got on the bike, and patted the seat behind him. I sighed, and swung my leg over the seat.

Before I knew it we were off on our destination. I mentally said goodbye to my town as we drove by each building. As we passed the high school, all the memories were basically slapping me in the face. I wouldn't get to see my friends again. No more Liam or Lucille. No more dance team. No more mom and dad telling me goodnight. I eventually closed my eyes, and laid my head on Ashers back, slowly drifting to sleep.
