Working with Emre as your boss wasn't hard. He had always been nice to you, even before you two started going out. The only problem now was that you were so in love with him that it was hard for both of you to keep each other from demonstrating your love in public. Emre always feels the need to touch your hand secretly or brush a strand of hair away from your face.
You needed to keep your love a secret from your coworkers and friends for a little longer, as you gain the courage to tell your parents about your relationship. It's not that they don't like Emre, but it's hard for your father to see you as a grown up woman falling in love with a man.
So, for now, Emre agreed to keep it all a secret, even though it was hard for him to not kiss you in the morning or hold your hand as you walked the corridors.
But despite all the efforts to remain discreet, your best friend Sanem was convinced that you and Emre Bey were more than just boss and secretary, even though you always denied it.
That morning, as you were giving some papers to Emre, he holds your hand, hiding it behind the folder.
"Emre...", you say, but he keeps holding your hand delicately.
"I wish I could kiss you right now.", he admits, making your soft pink lips curve into a smile.
"I'm sorry...", you were the one who decided to keep it all a secret for some time.
"You don't have to be sorry.", Emre reassures you. "I could wait for you my all life."
You didn't know what you have done to deserve such a nice and sweet man in your life.
"I should head back to work.", you say as he lets go of your hand and holds the folder.
"Meet me for lunch. I know a special place to take you."
You nod.
"At one o'clock?"
"At the garage?"
You nod again and smile at him.
"I love you, (Y/N).", he murmurs.
"I love you too, Emre.", you say, wishing you could just jump into his arms and kiss him.
His "I love you" was still making you smile discreetly as you walked out of Emre's office. You just could wait until lunch when you both could finally stop pretending he was just your boss.
You were so deep in your own thoughts, that you almost didn't notice your friend Sanem looking. She winked at you as you were leaving Emre's office with reddish cheeks.
Maybe you and Emre weren't that discreet after all.
