"Hanbin, could you go and buy some groceries for me? I'm busy and Areum is at her boyfriend's!" The boy, who was currently on his phone, groaned groomily. Goddamnit, I was just settling down. He stood up and trudged down the stairs and to the countertop where the grocery list was.
GROCERY ITEMS 08/01/24
1. Milk
2. 2 packs of eggs
3. Juice (preferably mango, for some reason Areum likes it these days and Hanbin has been getting used to it as well.)
4. Biscuits
5. Veggies (lettuce for kimchi, broccoli and some more stuff if I walk past some stuff and remember something)
6. Fruit
7. Flour
8. Salt & SugarHanbin sighed, "Eomma! I am not going to buy all of this! I don't have enough!" he could hear his mom clicking her tounge from all the way from the laundry room, "Idiot! I put some money beside the list as well!" the boy let out a small 'oh' and checked beside the list to find 200k won lying there. He giggled to himself and swiped the money away, grabbing his coat and putting on his shoes. "I'll be coming back soon! Bye!"
"All right baby, bye!" He heard his mom say right when he was about to close the door. He was immediately hit with the breezy air and shivered. "Goddamn... it's so cold all of the sudden." the boy mumbled under his breath and headed to the nearby grocery store.

Whining for the nth time the day, Hao bothered Ricky again with him taking hours picking out ingredients for his food class, somehow the older boy was forced to tag along. "Shut it, ZhangHao. You're here as mental support incase I freak out about not finding anything perfect." Ricky spat back, shoving a bag of flour into Hao's face for him to put in the cart.
The older rolled his eyes and quite literally dropped the flour into the cart, trying to get this shit over and done with. Fun fact about Ricky, he doesn't play when it's his food class, so they'd be here for hours whether he liked it or not. It was almost a habit for Ricky to just drag Hao along for some reason, to be his personal assistant or whatever shit he says.
"Hao, how many items left to buy?" Ricky asked the older chinese man, not taking his attention off of the baking section. Sluggishly, Hao picked up the slightly crumbled up piece of paper and checked, "You still have vanilla extract and sugar" the younger nodded and led them further down the aisle, close to where the sugars were.
Hanbin looked at his list of groceries needed, he was halfway through the list but is quite confused on where the stack of mango juice were, currently he was in the juice section but couldn't find the same exact brand of the juice needed.
Goddamnit, I really don't wanna speak to the staff... he whined in his head, making little stomps on the ground, he trudged to the nearby staff member who was currently stacking up some milk. "Hi! Uhm, I would like to know where this mango juice is?" the lady turned around and looked at the image Hanbin showed her on his phone, nodding and pointing to where he could find it. "It's there. You have good taste, it's a really great juice." Hanbin smiled politely and nodded, heading to the section where mango juice was.
"Yeah!! Oh yeah!!! I only have the stuff in the baking section to go!!!" Hanbin silently broke out in cheers, doing a little weird dance before hop-skipping along to the baking aisle to find the flour, salt and sugar he needed.
"Fuck, where's the sugar?" Ricky asked Hao-but-not-really-asking-Hao, the older looked around to see a bag of sugar laying on the shelf, he pointed at it before going back to scrolling through his phone. Hearing some gasps, he then looked up to see Hanbin and Ricky interacting with eachother like they've been besties since diapers. "Oh my god! Hanbin! I haven't seen you since like, forever. Gyuvin really didn't tell me much about you for the past few weeks and it's been pissing me off in every single way possible. How are you though?" Ricky asked the boy, eagerly waiting for a response, for him to proceed with his plan of getting Haobin together (pt.1)
Hanbin giggled cutely, "Ahh, that idiot Gyuvin.. anyway, I'm fine thank you! And uh.." he looked a little bit to the left of Ricky to see Hao, staring at him dumbfounded. The youngest chinese boy smirked, "Well, I'll get going now, Hao you better bring me all these ingredients later at my house. I'll pay you back! Bye!" before any of the two could say anything, Ricky left.
Hao groaned and rolled his eyes, having to pay for it and to stay with Hanbin longer. "Hi.. um. I'm sorry, Ricky likes to bring his friends closer for some shitty reason he always tells me." Hao spat out, making Hanbin chuckle awkwardly.
The taller boy looked down at what Hanbin's cart was full of, "Huh, Mango juice? I didn't know you liked that brand." he must've said that out loud, because Hanbin let out a confused 'hm?' and looked up at him with his eyebrows furrowed. "A-ah well, of course you could like it, I was just curious on what juice to give you tomorrow." he winked, seeing that Hanbin's face flushed red instantly, he knew his quick and smart way of flirting helped.

"Well, um.. thank you for buying my groceries for me as well. Although it's quite much.." Hanbin smiled up at the older, making Hao stare at him like he was an angel sent from above. His cute, petite face, long eyelashes, whisker smile, the way his eyes turn into a crescent moon when he smiles, god. He was down bad.
"No problem.. don't forget to pay me back, though." Hanbin smirked mischievously, fishing out the 200k to hand to Hao, making the older shocked at how fast that was. "Hah! I already had the money to pay, you just payed because you wanted to." Hao clicked his tounge and let out a 'tsk' in annoyance, chasing down the younger who ran away singing a random tune.
"Hey you little shit!"
