chapter 2: the start of 8th year

P.O.V Harry

Me, ron, and mione had been staying at the weasley's over the summer after the battle of hogwarts now were in diagon alley getting new supplies for our 8th year. Right now were sitting outside of florean fortescue's ice cream parlor eatting out ice cream. Hermiones reading as always ron was scarfing down his ice cream and i'm eating my ice cream thinking about everything that has happened in the past couple of months " harry" hermione says " yeah" "you ok you've been staring off for the past few minutes" " yeah i'm fine" "ok" "so as i was saying i'm so glad that professor mcgonagall let everyone redo the year" hermione proceeds to go on and on about what our 8th year is going to be like. (jeez 'mione even i don't talk that much your lucky that your so cute and strong our you would not be my fave character) 'ok now i'm hearing things huh...wait is that malfoy zabini and parkinson! "mione" " yes harry what is it" before i can say anything ron cuts in " bloody hell is that zabini malfoy and parkinson" hermione turns around " is that what you were going to tell me harry?" "yes" " how about we go talk to them" "what! no way 'mione" ron says " ron look at them they look kinda scared i know i would be if i were them i say we should go help them. what about you harry what do you think?" " i agree with 'mione we should go help them" "alright fine" we get up and walk over to them they sitting at another table so we go over and sit at their table i sit across from malfoy hermione sits next to me across from pansy and ron sits next to hermione across from zabini. " what do you guys want" parkinson says with venom in her voice " we only want to talk" mione tells her " alright then talk, say what you have to say and leave." zabini says annoyed 'hm malfoy is being very quiet today. he's just looking down.' " we just wanted to say that if you guys need any help we would be happy to help you guys out" hermione tells them " "w-what" malfoy says finally looking up with his beautiful grey eyes...wait oh never mind ive honestly gotten used to thinking very weird things about malfoy. " why would you help us?" zabini asks "yeah you hate us" malfoy adds " we saw how worried you looked and thought we should maybe help you guys out this year considering everything that has happened recently" ron says in the most sincere voice i have ever heard come out of his mouth. They just sit their shocked that we actually care when zabini says " woah i didn't know you could be so sincere about anything other than food weasley" and we all start laughing even ron " neither did i" ron says in between laughs. when we all stop laughing malfoy says " i think we'll take you up on than offer though we all should probably get going it's getting late" i check the time and see that it's 5:30 " oh shit your right mrs. weasley is going to kill us" i say as we get up to leave " oh and potter" malfoy says before we start to walk away " yeah?" "see you at hogwarts" he says while extending his hand for me to shake and unlike first year i shake it this time "see you at hogwarts malfoy".

P.O.V draco

After the golden trio leaves me blaise and pansy head back to our shared apartment we bought after the war to get away from everyone. "they were surprisingly really nice to talk to when we aren't trying to mess with them" pansy says me and blaise nod in agreement " i can't believe that weasley didn't get mad when i said that, even though its true". we all start to snicker " your right though i think they might actually want to be our friends" pansy says " you might be right" i reply " well hogwarts starts in a week we can talk to them again then". pansy and blaise start on dinner while i read (geez as lasy as ever dray) wtf was that i'm just gonna ignore that " hey guys do you think potter and the weaslette are still together" " why dray you want to asks him out" pansy says with a smug look while i blush. " what about you and granger huh" i say and pansy goes red and blaise chuckles at the both of us with our red faces " oh don't think we've forgot about you and weasley blaise" me and pansy say in unison now all of our faces are red great just great ( y'all are so gay and precious you know that) there it is again whatever i give up. " i hope we can make amends with them and everyone else" blaise says "yeah" " i agree" pansy and me say " even if we can't lets at least try to enjoy our last year at hogwarts" i say " yeah lets promise to stick together and help  each other this year" pansy says sticking out her pinky " a pinky promise really, that's for little kids not 17 year old's pans" blaise says " no its not" "yes it is" "is not" "is to" "enough you to were not toddlers, and yes we can pinky promise i guess" i say "ug fine i'll do it" blaise complains "yes" pansy says and we all pinky promise to help each other out this year even though we kinda do that every year anyways but whatever. " and to answer your question from before dray don't know but lets find out same with granger and weasley i want to know if they are still together too" pansy says " alright first week of 8th year lets find out" "deal" both pansy and blaise say. " now finish dinner i'm hungry" i whine "fine fine but stop whining dray"
