My heart skipped a beat...
"Who's asking?" The elderly motel owner asked. "I'm looking for my little sister,Ōjo Hikari Murasaki. I'm Ōji Kagayakimasu Rapisurazuri."
I heard the elderly women gasp,"She's in the last room down the hall my dearest Ōjo." I heard his footsteps coming down the hall.
I gathered all my things, and opened an extra door in the room. But all it was,was a bathroom door. I looked around the room again, and found a sliding closet door right next to the entrance into this room. I hid in it.
I waited in silence in the closet. The sound of footsteps stopped at my door. The doorknob turned, and the door opened. I peeked out of a crack. Kagayakimasu entered the room. He walked towards the bathroom door and walked in.
Now is my chance to run out of the room. I quickly slid the door open, but as soon as I made it out of the room,he must have seen me.
"Hikari! Hikari come back here!" Kagayakimasu began to chase me down the hall. I ran out of the motel, but was greeted by a bunch of soldiers. I ran away,I'm heading for the meadow. "There's the Princess, bring her back here." Kagayakimasu ordered his soldiers and led the pursuit.
I was about 37 feet away from them. As soon as I got to the meadow I ran to the very end,but waiting there was Kurai. I ran towards him. "Kurai please help me get away. My brother is searching for me and ordered his soldiers to catch me,please,I'm sorry about before." I pleaded.
He hugged me. "You forgive me?" I tried to move and look up at him,but he had an iron grip on me. "Kurai, what're you doing???" I started to panic.
"There's the Princess!" One of my brother's soldiers shouted. Kagayakimasu walked towards us. "Good job,Kurai. You did the right thing." He said.
It felt like a knife stabbed through my heart. "What? Y-You planned this?" Kurai just stared down at me with a straight face.
I feel helpless, useless. I feel like a fool. I let my body sink in Kurai's arms, but was still held up with his strength. I felt a tear roll down my cheek.
"I hate you."

I don't know what to think,or who to trust anymore...
"You could stop looking so upset,Hikari." Kurai grabbed my hand, but I tugged away from him. "Don't touch me." I started to pet Shirayuki who was sitting in my lap purring. Kurai brought her with him. I always pet her when I get upset,or stressed out.
I saw his face reflect off the glass. He flinched,a little bit. But I don't care. He hurt me more than I have ever hurt him.
I stared at my older brother and examined his face. He was staring back at me with his hand under his chin, and he was smiling. Usually I would find that awkward, but I just don't care.
"So Kagayakimasu, you're my older brother, huh?" I asked. "You could call me,'Kagaya'. But yes,I am your older brother." I narrowed my eyes at him.
"How am I supposed to believe this? Any of this?",I chuckled,"I think I'm going crazy. This must be a dream. All of this, this world. How would I actually believe that you're even my older brother? Because the last I remember,I was an orphaned little 5 year old who were given to foster parents that abused me until I ran away when I was only 7."
Kagaya reached into his kimono, and pulled out a picture. He gave it to me to look at.
It was of me as a toddler. Kagaya looked to be about 13 years old. In the photo,I was holding his hand.
I looked so happy in the photo.
It looked like I was home.....
