why does this keep happing to us

Kel was laying in bed and he couldn't stop thinking about yesterday. Hero aubrey and him all woke up to a scream he was the first one to get up there and when he did he saw polly kneeling on the ground saying stuff like "I'm sorry" and "I should have helped"

 he didn't know what she was talking about but then he saw that basil's door was opened and looked inside it. He saw basil on the floor with a stabbed out stomach and gardening shears in his hand. kel felt sick to his stomach.

 And for the first time in a awhile he cried. He then saw sunny looking at all of them. "Why does this keep happening to us?" he asked sunny with teary eyes.

Hero had to help him walk home.

He felt miserable that night and all he could think about was what if I helped earlier?

He heard his alarm go off. Oh yeah he forgot about that, he had set an alarm so that way he could call sunny before he moved to make sure that sunny was ok.. He got out his phone but before he could call sunny hero walked in. "Hey kel who you calling?" Hero's eyes were red and kel could tell he was crying. "Just trying to call sunny"

"Ill let you be then" hero told kel then walked to his desk. Kel was calling sunny now but he wasn't picking up. "Pick up please" kel was muttering to himself, he was worried for sunny, hes moving out, and yesterday he saw what happened to basil.

Hero was siting at his desk and he couldn't help but listen to kel. "Hey kel how about we go over to see sunny?" hero would make sure sunny wouldn't follow mari and basil's fate.

"Okay" kel said with a sad smile. Maybe it would be good for him to see sunny.

The whole way to Sunny's house kel just couldn't stop thinking the worst. What if sunny-

His thoughts stopped once he saw he was at Sunny's house.

Hero knocked on the door and sunnys mom opened the door. "Oh hi!" she said happily.

Did she not know what happened yesterday?

"Can we come in to see sunny?" hero asked the happy lady

As soon as kel got in the house he saw it. The knife. It wasn't on the table anymore.

Kel ran up the stairs and into sunny's room.

"Kel what are you doing!" hero yelled. Hero then followed kel into sunnys room to find kel on the floor sobbing into his hands.

 "Kel are you ok? What happened!?" hero asked.

"S-s-sun-sunny he- hes" kel said well choking out sobs. "Kel what happened to sunny?" hero asked, afraid of what happened.

 Kel then pointed to sunnys bed. Hero walked over to where kel pointed. He then saw sunny bleeding with a knife in his chest. 

"No no no no no not again." hero said trying not to cry. Hero looked back at kel and decided they need to go.

They where walking home with hero supporting kel by making sure he wouldn't fall.

 Thats when they both saw aubrey and sunnys mom crying together. They must of found out what happened.

When they got home hero was comforted by their parents, kel immediately went to sleep not bothering to change his clothes. It was a dreamless night.
