The Black Spikes lunge ahead and lock their jaws into her neck, the female screeches in pain and bats both into the wall.
The Black Spikes recover and charge ahead the young black spike bites into her skin and rips it off.
The adult black spike slashes her across the torso causing her to scream out, and then both fire their spikes at her.
She lets her armor deflect it as she runs ahead picks up the young black spike and slams it hard against the ground.
The adult black spike and the female white spike wrestle, they seem to be evenly matched until the adult fires spikes into her neck.
This causes her to freak out and go berserk, so she lashes out at the adult black spike and bites him multiple times before throwing him.
The Female then bats Muri into a wall hurting her back, she shouts the beast then charges to get at her snapping its jaws.
From outside more males pull up, "The colonel is down. I repeat, the colonel is down!" Greenwood shouts
Dan grabs a gun, "Stay in the helo." A soldier orders
Dan ignores her and descends firing off his weapon killing a white spike and then entering the hole.
He sees his daughter in danger, so incomes the black spikes who do a combined head butt to stagger her backwards.
Young Black Spikes strikes her in the face, Adult Black Spike bites her jaw, And finally Dan stabs it in the eye.
The Black Spikes and The Forresters push the female in together and slam the button down locking her one side.
Greenwood slides under a rope and kicks the other half as she snarls, "We got her ass." Greenwood says
"Viper One, get her out of here. We'll get the next one." Muri says as everyone exits, "Viper Four, enemy contact... Your three o'clock!"
Whitespikes are shrieking in the distance.
"Run!" Muri shouts
Everyone runs including the black spikes, the white spikes close in on them but The Black Spikes kill them.
Dan takes off in the Humvee as his daughter uses the turret to kill any white spikes that get too close to them.
The Black Spikes follow the Humvee as well killing any white spikes that close in, the young black spike snaps a white spikes neck and then rips off its head damn Jamari!
And so they drive the humveee through the forest and stop at the beach, Muri fires a flare as the black spikes shrink and slowly become Jamari and Adult Jamari.
Immediately after Jamari groans and collapses over to the ground, again he is young his bones and organs and shit Can't handle that amount of reset.
So he falls unconscious and his older self catches him, "You put yourself in danger." Muri says
"I made a judgment call." Dan says
"Yeah, you could've screwed up my mission." Muri says
"Hey he was trying to help." Adult Jamari cuts in
"That's not what I asked him to do. I need him to stay alive." Muri says
"You were under attack. I wasn't gonna sit in a helo and listen to my daughter get eaten. Sorry. I'm still your dad." Dan says
"You know, I used to want to be like you.
I wanted to be you. I believed in you when nobody else did." Muri says
"And then?" Dan asks, "What? What happened? Talking about a period of my life that I haven't lived but you have. Enlighten me. What happened?"
"You left us." Muri says
"Bullshit. No, I didn't." Dan says
"Yeah, you left us. That nearly killed Mom, you know. She believed in you, too. Just like I did." Muri says
"I know for a fact I would never leave you." Dan Saha
"Yeah, that's what I thought. When I was 12, you guys separated. And then you told me that everything was gonna be okay. And then, when I was 14, you divorced. You... you just never... (sighs) You never seemed happy with your life. And then, on my 16th..." She begins as tears swell and her bff adult Jamari walks over and comforts her, "We got a call from the hospital. You were in a car accident. I was there in the ICU. I heard your last heartbeat on the monitor. I was there... when everyone rushed in and they pushed me away. And I watched them shock you over and over again. You know, Mom had tried to help me separate from you, but I, um... I couldn't. I didn't want to, because I wanted you to see me. I wanted you to hear me. I wanted you to... to fix it and... and save our family. I didn't want you to walk away. And then you were gone."
A helicopter begins approaching, "Deepswell-9, Viper Actual on approach." The Pilot says
"Copy, Actual. Drone escort en route." A woman says
Dan and His daughter ride in the helicopter as Jamari and Jamari look at each other, "Silence Is Loud." Jamari says
They return to base as the female white spike is sedated on the ground, Dan searches for Muri, "Excuse me. I'm looking for Colonel Forester." Dan says, a worker points into the room, "Thank you."
The Whitespike breathes deeply.
"Good morning." Muri says
"Morning." Dan says
"How are you holding up?" She asks
"Oh, I'm okay. I'm good." He says
"Want to give me a hand?" She asks
"Yeah. Yeah, uh... What can I do?" Dan asks
"Uh, just grab that controller and, uh, take her up for me." Muri says
Dan taps a button as the female white spike is slowly taken up, "Ugh. She stinks." He says
Adult Jamari enters, "Yeah, she's, um, secreting something like sweat." Jamari says
"You sure it's safe to be that close?" Dan asks
"No. That's why we sedated her. Gave her 180 milligrams of hydromorphone." Muri says
"Did you say 180 milligrams? Per day?" Dan asks
"Every hour. You know, the female genetics aren't that different from the males. The toxin still affects them, but for some reason, her body is much better at detoxifying it." She says
"So you just got to figure out what she's using to attack the toxin. You can design an enzyme inhibitor to neutralize it." Dan says
"And then we can kill them all." Jamari and Muri say
"Oh, yeah." Dan says
They enter the lab, "The only problem is finding out what's stopping the toxin. It can be one of a thousand things. We'll need hundreds of variations... to make thousands of tests. With any luck, we should have a working female toxin by the morning." Jamari explains
"I scrounged up some dinner. Have two options: veggie lasagna and... veggie lasagna." Young Jamari says, "Sheesh, That's how you know you're near the end."
She drops a black liquid in and scans it, "Okay, let's see how fast we can denature this thing." She says the machine scans it, "It's gonna run a thousand tests. See if we can break down this sucker. We can. We can. This is gonna work. You're gonna save the world."
