Monday morning rolled in quicker than I thought. I had showered and probably tried on ten different outfits and none of them seemed to look good. I did not want to look overdressed because Orion might think it was because of the 'Lunch date' and I hated undressing for work.

After that night's texts, we had not really spoken much. Okay fine, he had texted me 'See you on Monday' and I chose not to say anything. Sue me, but I was freaking out. I was not sure about anything anymore.

It was already past seven, I had to leave in half an hour and I was nowhere near ready. I was feeling nauseous and decided to skip breakfast and have a glass of juice with an apple. Just then the doorbell rang. I pushed the clothes on the floor aside to open the door.

And there were all three of them. Juniper with a Tea cake, Lina with a clothing bag, and Ev with a blow dryer. I had kind of told everyone the next day about the 'Lunch date' and here they were with everything I needed,

As I held the door open, Juniper stepped in first "How about you start with food and we will take care of the rest."

They were absolutely on point; I was ready on time. Lina had brought me a beautiful navy-blue jumpsuit that reached my ankle and a plaid blazer to go with it; I paired it with black platform heels. Ev turned my frizzy hair into beautiful waves. And Juniper packed my work bag up and also stuffed some food into it.

What would I do without them?

As we were stepping out, I picked up my helmet from the table. Juniper grabbed the helmet from me, "Not a chance, I am driving you to work. You look damn good and I do not want your hair to go all frizzy again in this weather."

"Fine, thank you for the ride, mademoiselle!"

Lina was working from home today and Ev went off to meet her client. As I was stepping out of Juniper's car, she called out "Have fun today and I hope Orion drops you back." With that, she drove off.

As I exited the elevator on our office floor, I kept looking around to check if Orion was already here. When I did not see him anywhere, I let out a breath of relief.

As I was walking towards my desk, I saw Declan in his office and waved at him and he gave me a wide grinning smile. On Monday mornings, he usually just waves back or gives a straight smile. As I was thinking why Declan was acting weird, I reached my desk and had my answer.

There was a vase of fresh sunflowers at the back of my desk, a flask, and my coffee mug. As I neared the table there was a note stuck on it.

Was Orion always this nice? And I could not deny that he was spot on with the name

Was Orion always this nice? And I could not deny that he was spot on with the name. I was gushing and smiling widely seeing that note when Declan called out from the office, "I expect the weekly client report on my desk before noon if you are planning to step out."

I looked around and thankfully nobody else was nearby to see me or hear Declan. "Yes Boss!"

I quickly sat down and poured myself a cup of coffee while the system was turning on. The coffee was still hot and it tasted really good. The flowers were quite distracting while I was trying to get things done before lunch.
