Railhero: Hunted

Diggy Diggy Tunnel. Lots and lots of tunnels.

Remember how before Mix ran off Skull attacked him while he bought the waffle charm for Saten? Well after she demonstrated to Vix what herself and their enemies were capable of, them and Walker hadn't really been seen since. And that would be because they were quite busy working on Vix's little plan..

Or should I say big plan, as it would hopefully result in the deaths of every single human in this city. Followed by the rest of the planet, naturally.

During Vix's time in the underworld, which had been several years, he'd gained quite a bit of power. Far more than any of the Guardians would anticipate. However instead of just going out and causing death and destruction on his own, wouldn't it be more fun to make a show of it?

By this point the idea of summoning demons from the underworld shouldn't be too confusing. The stronger level demon you are, the more demons you should be able to bring though a summoning circle. And while Vix wasn't originally a demon.. He unfortunately qualified as a demon lord, seeing as for the past several years, he's actually been the one to sit on the throne down in hell. He was known by every creature with a brain down there as the strongest. Meaning if he were to make a summoning circle and command demons to come to his side?

He'd basically be opening the doors to the underworld for the whole place to come pouring out.

And that, in essence, was the plan.

Starting at that wrecked underground lab he was originally summoned from, he set Skull and Walker to work on digging tunnels under the city. The goal was to reach five points all around the outskirts of the city in a big circle. And when they got to that point, they'd clear out a massive space using Skull's giant monster form. Yeah, you know all those earthquakes that have been happening? That would be the cause.

Each time they created one of these large open areas, Vix would create a massive summoning circle in the ground. Compared to the single person sized ones Skull had seen, these were shockingly large. Like, the size of a house kind of large. And currently they were on their way to making the fifth and final.

Walker: This is absurd amounts of digging for such a short amount of time.

Vix: Eh, it's not that bad.

Walker: You haven't done any diggi-

Vix: Consider me your project manager.

Walker: ...Right. Anyway, why does this one need to be so much further out than the others?

He couldn't help but notice that this final tunnel that he and Skull had been digging went far past the distance from the city the others had.

Vix: Because there's a certain someone out in this direction that I think we should pay a visit to when we kick this off!

Skull flinched at this.

Skull: Is it him?

Vix smirked.

Vix: Of course. I know another me when I sense them. And I think it'd be fun to kill him first when the party starts.

Skull: I couldn't agree more.

Skull seemed to double her efforts on digging now that she had that in mind, as she was eager to get revenge for her master and creator. She couldn't wait to finally kill Mix. This time she'd do it for sure.

Walker: Well that seemed to motivate her.

Vix: I figured it would. It wont be long now till we're all set to go now.

Walker: And what exactly is the plan once we begin the attack?

Vix: Kill them?

Walker: The Guardians and their allies or someone in particular?

Vix couldn't help but burst into laughter at that question.

Vix: Oh Walker, I thought for sure you'd know me better than that by now! I mean anyone who breathes.

Walker: ... Of course.

Walker, thinking: How could I possibly forget his love of death? I was in the underworld when he took the throne after all.. I saw what he did to get there.

The three of them may have been staying quiet while working on this plan, but it wouldn't be long now. In just a few hours, they'd make themselves known. And the destruction they'd bring with them would be unforgettable..
