The second I walked through that door, something was off. Someone was off. My wife, Rebekah has been acting awkward around me,ever since I took up this new role at work. After long days, all I ever wanted to do was relax before cooking dinner but Rebekah had other plans. She had been rushing me out of the door in the morning and sending me messages throughout the day to make sure I wasn't coming home for anything. She had been ruching me to do things I do on a daily basis like cook dinner, like she has a strict schedule and she needs to be somewhere. Rebekah stays at home while I go and work. On my way to work I pull over to check my phone. I get a notification from an app that I have never downloaded. I thought it was a game or social media app but it wasn't. I look at the notification, "Rebekah left home", I was confused. Why do I need to know if she left home. Who downloaded the app. I click on to the app and discover a large map of the local neighbourhood and a large icon with a picture of Rebekah on it. It showed her exact location. Every street she drove down, everywhere she stopped and the speed she was driving. It only struck me that we only ever had one car, and with me on the way to work didn't add up. It felt like my thoughts were runny laps inside of my head. I was worried and confused. I sat and stared down at my phone watching her location slowly move towards another neighbourhood. Suddenly the large i con stopped moving. I immediately start driving towards her. The drive was thirty minutes from our house, which was quite odd. I pull into the nice neighbourhood. There were tall bright trees and flourishing flowers along every street. There was a small shopping centre nearby. At first I thought she went shopping, but that wasn't exactly where the tracker was. I drove to exactly where the tracker was and it took me outside of a 2 story luxury house. The house had a large tree in the backyard that hangs over the side fence. There was a black Range Rover on the blue pecked driveway. I park along the street as it was near empty. I went to go knock on the door, but hesitated. I went back to the car and stared down at the ring I had in the cup holder. I was planning on taking her on a beach holiday to the Whitsundays. And then propose to her on the boat ride. I hear the door latch open and see movement from the corner of my eye. I quickly shove the ring in my pocket and got out of my car. I start walking up the driveway and see Rebekah and a man dressed in a black t shirt and floral shorts. They didn't see me but I very clearly saw them. Rebekah then turned towards the man leaning on the door frame and went in to kiss him. My heart instantly sank to my stomach, it felt like I was punched on the gut. I heard a car start to slow down outside of the house, it was grey and there were 2 kids in the back seat and a lady driving. The lady got the kids out of the car and left it running. She frantically ran towards Rebekah and the man. I was halfway up the driveway before they finally saw me. The lady was sobbing while running towards the man. "Who is this!" She yelled "You told me you were sick!" The lady was breaking down onto her knees with her hands in her face. Rebekah asked the man "Who is this?" To which the man replied "this is my....." "Your what?" Rebekah said. "My wife of three years" "You're a home wrecker" I said trying to make her feel guilty for what she did. "It's clear to me you have had enough of me and want someone better, I would do anything for you, I would save anyone for you ,but you, you would save me for anyone, I'm always the second choice, ALWAYS" I said with a serious tone "we're done!" I walked back to my car and drove away. After all I have don for her, everything I have sacrificed has just gone in the span of 10 minutes. I watched it crumb before my eyes.
