TWENTY TWO

Emily...

She woke up feeling extremely light headed.

Sitting up, she saw a glass of water and a white pill sitting beside it.

Grabbing the glass cup and pill, she chugged it all in one gulp immediately feeling dizzy.

Placing both hands on her temple she massaged it and soon yesterday's event played like a movie and then suddenly stops.

She had no idea who brought her to her room and then changed her clothes.

Wait what???

She looked down again and realized she was in a giant hoodie completely naked beneath.

She closed and opened her legs feeling a grimace tear through her face.

She felt sore and immediately her cheeks reddened.

Did she and Ken have sex?

If yes, why couldn't she remember anything.

She felt sad knowing her first time wasn't even in her memory.

She groaned covering her face with her hands.

Just then her bedroom door opened and Emily's eyes immediately darted towards it expecting to see Ken only to find her mother staring at her.

Covering up her disappointment with a fake ass smile, she cleared her throat.

"Hey mom"

Rosie chuckled before letting herself into her daughter's room and then making sure to close the door behind her.

Joining her daughter on the bed, she said "You look disappointed to say the least"

Emily could feel her cheeks burn with embarrassment.

Rosie chuckled at her daughter's embarrassment,"I would ask how well you slept but it seems to me that you didn't get a wink of sleep"

Emily cheeks reddened even more,"I slept well mom, thanks for asking"

Rosie chuckled again,"If you need lunch you know where to find the kitchen"

And with that she was gone.

Emily did what was asked of her and stood up to go to the bathroom to have a bath.

She could hear her stomach rumble with hunger so she hurriedly had her bath and then picked up the summer dress she found on the bed.

Em went downstairs and met some of the members in the sitting room watching a football match and she quickly scurried off to the kitchen when she met Ken's eyes.

Emily greeted Ashley and Kira before sitting down on the kitchen stool.

"Good afternoon, Em. I thought you're gonna sleep all day" said Kira.

"Well I'm awake" said Em picking up an apple, "So what's for lunch?"

"Spaghetti and garlic bread" Ashley answered causing Em's stomach to grumble loudly.

Emily wolfed down the plate of spaghetti that was placed in front of her by Ashley.

"Thanks guys, that was delicious"

"No problem.We're going out though. Do you want to come?" Ashley asked making Emily nod in response.

"Great come on let's go" Ashley said before pulling Emily away.

Emily wasn't planning on leaving this time. She actually felt like she belonged here and maybe staring at testube wasn't her life.

"We're going to show your two favourite places in the world and is all up to you to decide where you want to go" Kira said making Em hum in response.

"We have a private mall and a meadow, so where do you want to see first?"

"I don't know perhaps the meadow" Emily answered making Ashley frown.

"How can you say no to a private mall? Are you naturally this stupid or what?"

"That's rude, Ashley" Kira said with a frown on her face.

"It's fine we can go to the mall if you want" Emily said with caution.

"No Em, you want to see the meadow then the meadow it is. Ashley is just being a bitch" Kira said eyeing a sulking Ashley.

"Fine let's go to the meadow" Ashley said storming off leaving a concerned Emily and a livid Kira.
