Edith sat on one of the logs by herself as she watched as the fire moved around freely, memories of her and Klaus together flooding her mind. The way he would look at her, the way he touched and kissed her. "Hey," Edith lightly jumped as Aiden sat beside her.
"Jesus Aiden." She held her hand up to her chest.
Aiden lightly chuckled. "You know for a vampire, you're pretty easy to scare."
Edith smiled as she slowly nodded. "Yeah, well I was lost in my thoughts."
"What were you thinking about?" Aiden asked intrigued.
"Nothing just." Edith sighed slowly turning back to the fire. "Thinking."
Before Aiden could ask Edith another question, Damon groaned as he sat next to Edith, holding onto his stomach.
"What the hell happened to you?" Edith turned to her brother confused.
"Blondie." Damon groaned as he lifted his hands off his abdomen revealing the bright blood smeared on his hands and clothes.
Both Edith and Aiden looked at Damon slightly feeling his pain. "Damn." The two said in unison.
Damon placed his hand back on his wound, groaning.
Edith sighed before picking her brother up resting his arm around her shoulder and her arm around his hips as she began walking. "Come on, I'm taking you home." Edith grabbed her keys out of her pocket and handed them to Aiden. "Go start the car, Aiden."
The young boy happily grabbed the keys. "Does this mean I get to drive?" He looked at Edith excitedly.
"Oh dear god, no." She looked at Aiden in fear. "You barely know what a car is."
Aiden sighed as he slowly walked to the car.
Edith smiled at the boy walking ahead of them. "He acts just like you back in the day." Edith turned to Damon with a smirk on his face.
"Yeah, I guess so." The ginger turned back to her son as he hopped in and started the car.

It was the next day as Edith and Aiden walked into the Salvatore Boarding House when they heard someone groaning from a distance. "Low blow Stefan, low blow." Edith walked more towards Damon's voice.
