Chapter 3_Bexfore the Bond Fire

Amber POV

Sadie and I were meeting up at my house later to get ready for the Bond fire. You might be asking why do you need to get dressed up for a dumb bond fire. Well..if you haven't noticed I really like John Luke.

3 hours later.

Sadie had just gotten here and it was 4' o clock. We were going to meet the boys(Reed,John Luke.Cole,and Beau) at Mamaw Kay's house tonight then head on out to the camp site. Yes...we were gong to have a camp out..Sadie and I are going to share a tent and the boys are going to share a tent. If we didn't do that,you know what would happen:Mr.Willie would freak out. Considering the Robertson rule is:hands on hands and lips on lips and everything else happens after marriage. Anyways,Sadie and me got ready to go. I was wearing some cute miss me jean shorts in size16 in girls.( I know what Ur thinking Ur 14 at least get Teens but they were too baggy.) and a southern belle original shirt with the words: we love to dance and we love to flirt. We ain't scared of a little dirt.( the shirt was lime green and the words were hot pink) and I had on some neon pink,blue,orange,and green Nikes. Sadie was wearing a Hot pink I am a southern girl if u don't like me.........too bad!! She was also wearing lime green shorts and Pink and green flip flops from old navy. I let Sadie do my hair and makeup she straightened it then crimped some random pieces,and then applied neon pink Baby lipstick and lime Green eyeshadow. Sadie looked at us in the mirror and said we looked hot! I laughed to myself and said whatever! Then I heard a truck pull in the driveway. Sadie smirked and said here comes your boyfriend! I defensively said he is not boyfriend and muttered under my breath:and he probably never will be.

John Luke's POV

I pulled into Ambers drive and said in my mind I hope I look good enough for her. When we got done fishin today at 1 she looked gorgeous. I wished I wasn't the shy type who wasn't afraid to flirt,but apparently all of us Robertson "men" are the shy type. Like for real I don't even see how Beau just randomly asked Sadie without being nervous. I knocked not the door and Mr.Fuller answered the door. I said:Hey Mr.Fuller are Sadie and Amber ready? He said : they are still getting ready,but can come in JL. Mr.Fuller, I asked, can I speak to you outside for a second. He said of course. I then said Sir,I'm getting to the age where I want to be in a serious relationship. He chuckled and said I understand. Ok...JL I see what your getting at. I have a few things to tell you first.

1.Do u fear God? Yes Sir

2.Do you completely understand that I'm trusting you with my daughters heart? Yes,Yes I do,sir

3Finally.... John Luke Robertson... I'm gunna be sitting rite here cleaning this gun..got it!

I nodded and he approved. Then all of a sudden came the prettiest girl I've ever seen who make Shorts and Tshirt look HAWT!!!
