Silent Beauty

Author's Note: Yay! I've wanted to do a Bleach Fanfic for a looooong time soooooo here it is...

Ichigo's POV: 

I waved to Rukia as she disappeared through the gate to the Soul Society. She was going back to her own squad for a few weeks while I stayed here to protect the city. I mean how hard could it be? Sure, I'm just a Substitute Soul Reaper but, I obtained Bankai in three days! Take that world!

Then my Substitute Soul Reaper badge vibrated and I transformed myself into Soul Reaper form. I ran to the nearby park and saw a Hollow chasing a little boy.

I quickly grabbed Zangetsu from my back and slashed the Hollow in half and it instantly disappeared. I grinned and turned to run back to my body when the badge rang again.

I turned back with a sigh and ran again.

Then, before I knew it, I was running all over the city killing Hollows left and right. After about an hour of running around I stopped to rest.

"Damn, I didn't know it would be this hard.." I whispered to myself. Then, I heard the familar howl of a Hollow. I quickly ran towards the noise, why didn't my badge react to this one?!?

I jumped over a fence and into a clearing on the edge of town. I saw a teenage girl with bright, hot pink hair but, what was more surprising, she was standing in front of it like.....like she was waiting for it to kill her.

"Dammit," I mumbled to myself then I started to run toward her. "Hey! Run away, idiot!" I shouted to her.  She slowly looked towards me in shock.

Wait, she can see me?!?

I quickly grabbed her by her waist and ran out of the way of the Hollow's fist. Her teal eyes were wide as I put her on the ground.

"Are you ok?" I asked and she nodded slowly. 

I turned back to the Hollow. "Hey ugly!" Then the Hollow turned to look at me. "Yeah, that's right, I'm talkin' to you! If you want this girl, you're gonna have to go through me!"

"Hmm, is that so? Then I'll eat you too!" The Hollow said in its shrill-like voice and it charged towards me.

I smirked and flashed stepped behind it. I watched as it franticallysearched for me as I flashed all around it.

"Go ahead, try and eat me!" I taunted. The Hollow screeched in frustration and tried to smash me with its fist but, it was no match for my speed. I rose in the air behind it and slashed it in half, just like the others.

I turned and walked up to the girl, whose eyes were still wide with shock.

"Um, do you need help getting up?" I asked but, she didn't say anything so I pulled her up myself.

I noticed her uniform matched the uniform to my high school.

"So, what's your name?" I asked as she followed me out of the clearing. I heard the click of a pen and she grabbed my hand.

I watched as she wrote something on my palm. After she let go, I read it.
