Should I go or not?
Mag unsa man sab mi sa library together?
Wait.
Why am I even considering studying with him? I get that he is smart enough to help me, but do I need help?
Do I need his help?
Of course no, so I wouldn't go.
It's already past 9 PM pero kani ako gi huna-huna instead of studying. Maypag matulog nalang.
When I woke up, I did my usual routine. Pray, eat, brush teeth, bath, and skincare. I did a little extra today. I changed my hairstyle from ponytails to half pig tails and lightly curled the ends.
I looked at the time, it's still 6 AM. I still have enough time to roam around the garden.
What a great day!
I decided to ride a tricycle going to school for experience and it saves a lot of money.
The school felt calm with less people in it. No random annoying species.
Our first subject is science. We're tackling chemistry today. I've studied this already before, so I didn't have a hard time understanding the topic. That's the advantage of priming your brain.
Priming is when you introduce your brain to a topic with its description and more basic context to understand first on what the topic is all about. So, during lecture, when complex subtopics are discussed, you wouldn't have a hard time grasping information because you already understood the basics.
Okay, back to the story children.
I don't love nor hate science. I enjoy it when I understand the lesson. Same as to other subjects, except for math. I have this invisible string connected to math, even how hard it is, I still have the drive to find solutions.
And the bell rings. Lunch time.
I ate with my bestfriends, as usual. They are always hyperactive thus, there were no dull days because of them. They think of random things at random times like singing a random song, especially the 'Crush Song'.
hush, hush, hush
blush, blush, blush
You are now my big fat crush
I'm single as I can be
You're single, perfect for me
I'm gonna give you a bunch of reasons why you should take me ~My alarm rings.
12:30 PM - Daily Library Session
Ah, shoot. Now this isn't about Azure anymore, I can't skip this part of my daily routine or else I would get lazy again.
Fine.
I'll just ignore him if I see him there.
As I enter the library, it was so silent and with less students than usual. This is better.
I don't see some signs of Azure, so I sat at my usual spot to the right corner, facing backwards to the people so I won't get distracted, and prepared my things.
Tablet, reviewers, homeworks, and pens. All set.
I started answering some homeworks that are due earlier than others.
After one homework done, I started to think if Azure was serious about studying with me this time because it's already 12:45 PM. Our next class will start at 1 PM.
I finished my homeworks earlier than I expected. So, I decided to read a book while waiting for the time.
I paid for the library's aircon anyways.
After a chapter, I looked at the time and it's already 12:58 PM. There's no Azure. No war. My world is at peace and I must go back to our classroom.
I packed my things up and I felt some students behind me doing as well.
"Hah. That jerk. Maybe he thought of playing with me just like what he did to other girls before. He-"
A hand suddenly land on my shoulders and a man behind me spoke.
"Who is 'he'?"
I knew it was Azure.
"My new friend." I purposely highlighted the word friend and started to walk towards the door. And that jerk followed me.
"So you were waiting for me, huh?"
The audacity? Me?? waiting for him?????
"No. Why would I?"
Or was I?
No. Kinsa man siya para huwaton, diba?
"I arrived earlier than you."
"I didn't notice. Adto nako. Bye."
"Tomorrow nasab!"
"No."
I almost got late in our afternoon class because of him. He is unexpectedly talkative. I really thought that he is the silent type of smart guy, siguro if introvert siya, potential crush nako siya. But he is the exact opposite, so no.
He could pass as a friend though para naa koy makopyahan.
Joke.
Dili na kaya sa ako pride, of course. Tusokon gyud nako siyag ballpen if he ever tries to compete with me.
Highschool made me realize that school isn't just about goofing around. I can really tell the difference between the tiredness I felt during my grade school years than the present. Highschool is more draining but I have more opportunities to mingle with other people.
"Bagay ba sa akoa mag model?", KJ asked and did a pose.
It was 4:30 PM and we were waiting our "sundo". They were talking about what they want to be in the future.
"No. I think bagay sa imoha kay ako.", AJ said which made both of them laugh and fake a "kilig" expression.
"Mas nindot siguro if mahimo ta og hotdog and mag chill lang sa freezer."
"Oo pero brown ka na hotdog."
Unsa namani ila gi talk about uy. What if himuon gyud mo og hotdog ni Lord?
"Ikaw Lana, what do you think na course imo kuhaon?", I was stopped by KJ's question.
I don't know really. I haven't planned it yet, but siguro..
"Something to do with either medicine or law."
Medicine because I want to continue my mom's dream. Law because politics have caught my interest lately.
But my real dream is to become a chef. I can learn that after I get a degree, big time degree.
"Libre nya amo check-up if mag doctor ka ha."
"OMG, TUSOKA KO DOC! EHE"
My bestfriends may be weird, but I love them.
God knows how much I love them.
