Sunghoon sighed. "Are you angry...?"
His mother, understanding the weight of her son's question, shook her head gently. "No, Sunghoon, I'm not angry."
A shaky sigh escaped Sunghoon's lips, the tension releasing from his shoulders. Encouraged by his mother's understanding, he gathered the courage to reveal the identity of his crush.
"I... I like Sunoo. I have liked him ever since we met," Sunghoon confessed. "But I just... I don't feel normal because of it..."
Sunghoon's mother, initially taken aback, absorbed the truth with a mixture of surprise and understanding.
"It's fine, Sunghoon-a. It's totally normal to feel that way, i'm so happy you confessed," she said, her eyes reflecting a mix of surprise and unwavering support.
The weight of the confession, combined with his mother's understanding, proved overwhelming for Sunghoon. Emotions welled up, and he broke down, tears streaming down his face.

The next day, Sunghoon bundled up in warm clothing to visit Sunoo at the hospital. The world outside was adorned in a fresh layer of snow. The crunch of snow beneath Sunghoon's boots echoed as he approached Sunoo's room.
Entering the room, Sunghoon found Sunoo gazing out of the window at the snowy landscape. "I can't believe it's snowing," Sunoo remarked, a hint of wonder in his voice.
"Well, February has frequent snowfall, so...," Sunghoon replied with a smile, taking a seat beside Sunoo.
Sunoo's eyes met Sunghoon's, and he continued, "I know, it's just that... it rained yesterday, and now it's snowing. It's just strange."
Sunghoon chuckled at the observation, understanding the unusual weather patterns. "I know."
Sunghoon then started to look for Sunoo's mother, his eyes moving around. "Where's your mom?" he asked.
"She's out the hospital right now, fetching some porridge at the convenience store."
"Ohh, that sounds nice. It's good to have something warm on a cold day like this," he commented, glancing out at the snowy scene.
Now Sunoo asked, "Where's YOUR mom? Didn't she bring you here?"
Sunghoon shook his head, "Nah, she didn't. She's actually out to sign for a new job, I took an Uber to get here."
Sunoo's eyes widened in surprise. "Really? You came all the way here by yourself?" he asked, a mix of admiration and concern in his voice.
"Yeah, it's not a big deal. I wanted to make sure I could visit you," Sunghoon replied.
Sunoo smiled appreciatively, touched by Sunghoon's gesture. "You really didn't have too, Hoon," he said.
As the conversation flowed, Sunghoon couldn't help but ask about Sunoo's expected discharge. "So, when are they letting you out of here?" he asked, a hopeful look in his eyes.
Sunoo considered for a moment before replying, "The doctor said probably after three more days."
Sunghoon nodded, a mix of relief and impatience coloring his expression. "Three more days, huh? Well, I guess it's not too long. We can hang out once you're back home," he suggested with a reassuring smile.
Sunoo smiled. "Hopefully, I probably need to talk to my dad first though..."
As Sunghoon looked down, his smile faded. "By the way, I was thinking... if your parents' relationship is causing so much pain, why won't your mom just divorce your dad?"
