Previously:

"DET, ADET, CADET." I lazily open my eyes to see Shadis looking at me. "Y-Yes SIR." Oh god please help me. Everyone was snickering. "CADET. WHY WERE YOU SLEEPIN-" *munch* Shadis looked ahead of me. A brown haired girl eating a potato. I've seen this before..

"Hey you there, what do you think you're doing?" *munch* "YOU ARE OFFICIALLY PART OF MY SHIT LIST, JUST WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?" Sasha gulped her potato. "Sasha braus from Dauper Village reporting for duty SIR." Shadis glared at her. "Sasha braus huh? And what is that your clutching in your right hand?" Sasha yelled, "a steamed potato, it sat in the mess hall begging to be eaten SIR." I was trying not to giggle, she was my favorite character. "A theft, I understand. But here, why eat it here of all places?" Shadis must be really angry. "I was giving it shelter in my stomach." "Why, I cant comprehend. Why would you eat a potato." Sasha was confused, she had crumbs all over her cheeks.

"U-Uhh are you asking me why people eat potatoes, i'm surprised you don't know sir.." Everyone's mouth were open, probably thinking. 'HOLY SHIT.' "Here sir have half." She held an uneven piece, that's not even half. "Half half really?" Shadis said.

He made Sasha and I run to the sunset. "I-I don't think I can do this anymore.. exercising sucks."
Sasha and I giggled. "I'm (y/n) as you may already know." While we were running we got to know each other and became good friends. We got back from running. Sasha fell on the ground and I sat next to her tired as well. I heard footsteps coming near us. Sasha immediately opened her eyes and ran towards someone. "Bread?!" She came to me and gave me a piece of bread. "That was all I could save you. But.. you should drink some water first." She hands us water. "God? Are you..God?!" Sasha yelled. "Thank you.." I said. Another voice was heard. "Oi, what are you doing here?" So that was Ymir and the blonde is Christa.

"Well.. they've been running all day long." I chew my bread carefully and savour each bite. "Seems like you're just trying to do a good deed."Ymir replied. Sasha gulped her last piece of bread and sleeps on Christa's lap. "Was it just for the sake of potato girl and sleeping beauty? Were your efforts worthwhile?... whatever." Ymir carries Sasha. "Let's just carry her back to her bed."

"Are you trying to do a good deed as well?" "I'm just doing her a favor to put her in my debt, her stupidity could come in handy later." She mumbled quietly.

--Next Day--

"First, your aptitude will be tested, those who fail are not even worthy to serve as bait. Failures will be sent to the reclaimed lands!" It was almost my turn to get on, I was a bit nervous. Armin was already finished. "Good luck." I smiled. "Thank you.." I put on the metal belt. I was off the ground, I was wobbling a lot but after 32seconds i got the hang of it. Next to me was Eren, "oh no.." I mumbled. "What the hell are you doing, Eren Jeager?! Raise your upper body!" Everyone was laughing at Eren. I get off the machine. "Don't listen to the others Eren, I have faith in you." I mumbled.

--Later--

I got my tray and sat down. I was in the mess hall. Armin came and sat down next to me. "Hello i'm Armin Arlert, you must be (y/n) aka Sleeping beauty." He smiled. "I was tired, alright!" I huffed. Eren sits across Armin and Mikasa sits next to Eren. "Eren, Mikasa this is (y/n). (Y/n), Eren and Mikasa." I smiled. "Nice to meet you both." "Nice to meet you too." Mikasa replied. Eren was in his own world, zoning out. Mikasa cracked Eren's shoulder to get his attention. "Eren, this is (y/n)." He smiles, I could tell it was a fake smile. "I'm so pathetic. At this rate, I'll never be able to slaughter all the titans." "You should just forget about being a soldie-"

"I'll help you Eren, don't worry. I'll do whatever it takes to make you become a soldier."

"(Y-y/n).."
