Shar, short for Sharmaine is my best friend since 5th grade, she had been on my side for who knows how long, she's the bestfriend who would always side with you even if you killed someone.
"But Shar, yung pinagsamahan namin, was it all not worth it? Lahat ng plinano ko para saaming dalawa, wala lang ba yun para sakanya?" I cried.
"Faith, all of your efforts weren't worth it because he is an asshole, no matter what happens, he'll always be a dickhead who doesn't deserve you."
"Do you think i should chase more? Be more desperate? So that all of my efforts wont go to waste and he'll finally see how much I'd do for him?" I said while uncontrollably crying.
"Faith! Stop, that won't do anything. He already said he doesn't want you anymore, bat ka pa maghahabol? Faith for gods sake hindi ka aso, dont chase people who throw rocks at you." She said while carissing my back.
Right, he's been throwing rocks at me but i dodged it all, just to chase him even more. I couldn't let my efforts go to waste. But what? In the end he escaped.
Maybe all of this weren't really worth it. All of my efforts weren't really worth it.
"Oo na, fine ikaw na tama sa lahat." I said while wiping my tears.
Shar softened her gaze and hugged me. "Its okay Faith, di ka naman mamamatay kung wala yong lokong yon." She chuckled.
I hugged her back.
"Yes but it would take me days to move on from him. What do i do?" I said sounding hopeless.
"Hmmm, have you met anyone at the gym? Someone who caught your eye maybe?" She said with excitement.
As i lingered in my thoughts, that guy suddenly popped up in my head. Right! Jhal Huave, that sexy looking man who approached me earlier, should i maybe add him on FaceBook? Instagram?
While lost in my thoughts Shar snapped her fingers.
"Uhm hello?? Faith ano na?"
I looked at her while smiling.
"Jhal Huave."

"I met him at the gym earlier and oh my god, he's fucking hot."
I jokingly gestured like something hot is on my mouth.

I explained the whole thing as hours went by.
"Omg, totally add him everywhere on social media girl, go get your man!" She said excitingly.
I chuckled.
"Okay okay! I-aad kona right this moment." I said while searching his name through every social platforms that existed.
"Found him." I said confidently.
Shar looked at my phone and her eyes widen.
"Gago Faith seryoso?" Shar said looking straight to my eyes with a serious gaze.
"Uhm, why? Is there something wrong?" I said confused. She looks so shooked, im getting anxious.
"That's our new professor for the whole sem!" She said that made my eyes widen and jaw drop.
WHAT?! Oh no no no no, i must be dreaming right? Tangina i cant believe this, how do i not know? Wala naman nag announce sa gc ah? Why is Shar saying this to me just now? Oh my god, my reputation at school will be ruined! Why do we even have a prof thats so fucking hot?! Shouldn't this be illegal?!
Napatulala ako kay Shar ng matagal, my eyes still widened and my jaw still on the floor.
"Faith! Ano na, say something! You can't be fucking with our teacher!" She said while shaking my shoulders.

I yelled.
"I didn't think you would care since you didn't even listen to our old prof, and i most definitely didn't know na you would ever bump on him and be humiliated!"
I felt guilty. But paano ko malalaman? Walang nag report sakin na bagong prof pala namin sya, shit. Kailangan kong kumalma, I'll just act like i never saw him. That'll work right? Buti nalang diko pa sya na-aad sa social media.
"Okay okay, when sya papasok sa class? Para maiwasan ko sya." I said calmly.
Shar looked at me unbelievably, "Teh hinding hindi mo sya maiiwasan kasi prof natin sya sa major subjects! And also next week na sya papasok."
Im literally gonna faint, out of all subjects, major pa talaga?!
"Shar hindi ko to kaya, tangina anong gagawin ko?"
"Just go with the flow, act like you dont know him, thats the only way to avoid maissuehan." She said while carissing my arm.
"Okay just cover me up if something happens alright?" I said as i hugged her.
