"Say you could snap your fingers and be wherever you wanted to be. I bet you'd still feel like you're not in the right place. You can't get so hung up on where you'd rather be, that you forget the place where you are. Take a break from worrying about what you can't control. Live a little."
"We need to finish some things," Naruto said. He finally took over the villages, and life was going well. Now, he was 26, living with Fuu, Hinata, and Samui in their small house. Naruto now ruled over approximately 300,000 people, allowing people who wished to leave to move to the paper village, which was quite a lot.
"What is it?" Fuu asked, setting down a tray on the living room coffee table. Samui, Hinata, and Fuu all sat down, drinking tea and eating some rice cakes.
"I transformed one of my clones into a lizard and had it try to survey the traveling lands from Iwagakure to Konoha, but it found Madara Uchiha talking with someone called "Black Zetsu." It seems those two were pulling the strings," Naruto explained. Suddenly, his eyes turned red and he performed shadow clone jutsu, summoning three clones, creating three vessels; one for Kurama, one for Son, and one for Kokuo. Their eyes shifted to be red, orange, and white respectively.
"Kurama, some warning next time," Naruto grumbled.
"We need to talk about Black Zetsu. He's a child of Kaguya," Kurama said. Kurama had shown Naruto who Kaguya was, and he knew she was the creator of all chakra, and that his being stronger than her (by the tailed beast's estimates) was an anomaly because she was also the strongest Otsutsuki and the giver of Chakra on earth.
"You must seal him," Kokuo spoke. "He will continue to be slippery, lest you seal him before he can destroy the Earth as we know it."
"I see... should I just my Kami seal?" Naruto asked.
"Your god seal is powerful; save it for another time," Son replied.
"Indeed," Kokuo chimed in. "Use the seals we have taught you; the sun and moon seals."
"It is the smartest to instead use the Uzumaki 7th path seal," Kurama cut in. "It's the progenitor of all sealing jutsu and is, as far as I can tell, an absurd invention of humankind that allows you to surpass your human chakra limits, which should be impossible."
"Sealing jutsu is that strong?" Naruto asked.
"Yes, so use the Uzumaki 7th path seal. Truly, any sealing jutsu is strong enough to defeat black zetsu. Actually, these are all techniques your ancestors created... didn't we see you creating your own?"
"Yes. Actually, you've seen me make hundreds of seals. The one I think would be best is one of the stronger ones. I call it the severing seal, which can be applied like the sun and moon seal and severs all chakra pathways, rendering the victim of any chakra and, should they try to harness any chakra, it'll be stored in this seal here," Naruto said, finishing by gesturing to a special chakra glass tank he'd invented specifically to be able to store chakra in a tangible and visible way, condensing it to limitless points.
"Naruto, it's too dangerous; you're still running on half your chakra capacity," Fuu protested, standing. Naruto smiled at her.
"Don't worry about me. I have the chakra container," Naruto reassured. "And I taught you how to use Hiraishin. If you feel the marker pulse, you know to teleport."
Fuu brightened and nodded, sitting back down.
"I'll be off, then," Naruto said, opening the door and pulling on a black cloak with writing across the back, a circle of five elements with one kanji in the center for "normal" being written on it.
Naruto moved silently. He lurked in the shadows of a damp, moldy, underground cave. He noted how an old, frail body of Madara Uchiha seemed to be animated, followed by a man's cursing. Naruto dropped down and got a closer look. Madara's body fell over, and the man, who was comprised of one half pale white and one half pitch black, stood over it. The black half left the white half, reverting the body into a fully white version. Naruto jumped on it, activating his seal.
"SEVERING SEAL!" Naruto yelled, catching Black Zetsu. Naruto then sealed off his chakra core with a basic sealing jutsu, using shunshin to return home.
"DAMMIT I LET MY GUARD DOWN!" Black Zetsu yelled, only to see Kokuo, Son, and Kurama.
"Hello, Black Zetsu," Kurama spoke.
"W-What do you want???" Black Zetsu yelled in fear.
"So, Naruto, how will you seal him," Kurama asked.
"I was thinking I'd use the 8-tetragram seal, but then I remembered that he could likely access the mind of the user at any given point, since he's sneaky, so we'd need to find a seal that works on him... I'll combine several and seal him in me," Naruto said.
"What?" Fuu, Hinata, and Samui all said simultaneously.
"Naruto, you can't just do that!" Fuu exclaimed.
"She's right. Please don't, Naruto," Hinata spoke softly.
"I would like to hear your plan, first. You are always capable of amazing feats," Samui interjected, making the two shut up and nod. They realized that, maybe for today, Samui had beaten them at their game of best wife(u) due to her faith in Naruto's ability.
"Thank you, Samui," Naruto responded, smiling. "My plan is to use seventeen seals."
"Naruto, one wrong move and you risk silencing us tailed beasts or worse, sealing off your own chakra," Kokuo spoke.
"I will help him draw the seal. I've been in the head of every great Uzumaki, so I know how to make a seal work," Kurama spoke. "And I have the Kitsune clan to draw upon. I will be the one who observes."
"Thank you, Kurama. You truly are my greatest comrade," Naruto said solemnly. Kurama only nodded and Naruto summoned a clone, beginning the operation.
The day went on tirelessly, but with Kurama's guidance, avoiding certain seals, and staying clear of his chakra core, Naruto was able to draw the first seal. Kurama nodded, and from there, it was simple, as every other seal only needed to fit within the range of the first seal to be effective. Naruto placed several binding seals and used something that would keep his Uzumaki adamantine chains active in his subconscious, holding Black Zetsu in place, as well as chakra siphoners to pull directly from Black Zetsu's core and add to Naruto's collection. By the time they were done, Naruto wiped his forehead.
"First of many things has been finished," Naruto muttered, turning around as his clone and the clones that held the tailed beasts as vessels disappeared. After cooking and doing housework, he and his wives slept, content with their new lives, and possibly working to begin the next chapter of their lives throughout the night.
