Dead Man (In This Story)

I'm everything you said (was true)

"Units are on standby. Ready for your word." A man spoke. Vic nodded, "Good. Hold off on that live feed." The two started to walk and talk, "We've got an evolving situation here." Vic smirked. "Did they give you the green light yet?" The man asked. "They will." Vic ended it at that.

Barry was watching Vic and heard everything. He took out his walkie-talkie, fumbling it a bit, "Pezzy, we have a situation here." There was only static. He put the item back onto his belt loop as he swore in french.

Puffer and Pezzy heard Jimmy Fallon's voice as they got closer to where the Gyrosphere was. Just as they got there Jimmy's voice cut off as the sphere died. They stopped in their tracks when they noticed the damage.

Puffer looked around and noticed Grizzy's phone, smashed. "Oh fuck." He knelt down and grabbed the phone, hands shaking, "Shit... No.." His voice broke.
Pezzy gripped his gun strap and felt like he was about to scream until he noticed footsteps. "Hey." He gently kicked the other's foot, "They made it out." He pointed at the footsteps that led away from the busted machine.

Puffer wiped the tears from his eyes and looked at what Pezzy was pointing at. He got up, putting the phone in his pocket. They walked to the waterfall and they noticed that the steps stopped. "Holy shit... They jumped." Puffer spoke worriedly.
Pezzy looked down into the water, "That they did. They might be close."

Puffer cupped his hands around his mouth, "Droid! Grizzy!" He yelled.
Pezzy immediately put his hand over the other's mouth and shushed him. Puffer pushed Pezzy's hand off, "Hey! I'm not one of your fuckin animals!"
"Zip it!" Pezzy hissed. "Our best friends are still alive, but we will not be if you continue to scream like that." He narrowed his eyes.

"So... Can you think of something? Aren't you supposed to be smart?" Puffer asked, annoyed.
Pezzy glared daggers at the man, "And aren't you supposed to make sure things like this don't happen?" He spit out.
Puffer blinked and didn't say anything.
"Exactly." Pezzy took off his gun and held it, "Why don't you go back and look over everything in the control room. I'll find them." He started to walk away before he felt the man grab his arm. He stopped and looked at him, "What?"

"We'll find them." Puffer was looking at the ground. Pezzy let out an annoyed huff, "Oh, really? Now you want to help me?"
Puffer looked at Pezzy, "Don't start." His voice was low.
Pezzy just shook off the man's hand from his arm, "I'll find them. I have more experience with this anyways."

Pezzy started to walk away again but this time Puffer followed him. After a few moments he groaned, "Fuckin, fine." He turned on his heel to face the other, "Let's get one thing straight. I'm the one in charge. You do everything I say."
"Excuse me?" Puffer's voice was undignified.
Pezzy gave a fake smile, "Relax, dude. It's just like going on a hike in the woods." He turned back around, "Sixty-five million years ago."

Puffer sighed as he watched Pezzy walk away, "Fucking hell.." He followed the other.

Grizzy and Droid stumbled upon an overgrown garage. They entered and looked around. "Oh my god.. Look at all these relics." Droid picked up an old view finder. Grizzy whistled, "Damn. Those would sell for thousands on Ebay." He continued to look around and then noticed that there was a tarp hiding something under it. He walked up to it and pulled it off, revealing a Jurassic Park jeep, "Oh shit."

Droid looked over and whistled, "Do you think it'll even start?"
"I don't know but..if it doesn't I think I'll be able to fix it up." Grizzy patted the hood of the jeep.

Lowery was looking at the map, "Everytime this thing kills it heads further south." He looked at Simon, "It's heading right for the park."
Simon raised an eyebrow, "Why would she head over here?"
"She can detect thermal radiation. Our emergency measures just put all the warm bodies into one place.." Vivians voice was dim.
