Chapter 2

"We'll find you... Beatrix.."

Beatrix woke up, with widened eyes as she gasped for air. 'It's that nightmare again..' She thought to herself, her eyes slowly relaxed and her breathing became normal again. "I need fresh air.." Beatrix went to open the window in her room and breath slowly, it was already dawn. She placed her hands on the window and closed her eyes, enjoying the fresh breeze. She opened her eyes a few seconds later, and saw the beautiful sunrise, pink and orange sky forming as the sunlight enters her room, making the moment more magical like the ones from fairytales.

"Today is going to be busy.." Beatrix mumbles as she remembered her schedule for today. "Well, time to get ready.." A yawn escape from her mouth and she began stretching while on her way to the washroom. After Beatrix got ready and wore her clothes, she went to make breakfast for her and Ruth. A few minutes later, Ruth came downstairs and both of them ate breakfast. "You're going to be busy today, right?" Beatrix nodded while munching, "I have sword training and I'm also going to the library this evening. They said a new book about mystical creatures just arrived, of course I have to read them before anyone else."

"Alright, but come back before sundown." Beatrix hummed as a response. When she finally finished eating breakfast, it was finally time to head off, she wore her boots and said farewell to Ruth. But, she didn't know at the other side of the door, there was someone waiting for her. When she opened the front door, she saw a tall person, wearing a suit. "Good morning, Ms Beatrix." It was Norman, there he stood, his hair slick back, wearing a black tailored butler's suit.

"Good morning as well. What brings you here today?.." Beatrix asked as she stand on guard, observing the man. "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Norman Sylus, I am the prince's personal butler. I have come to inform you that the prince of Clementina would like you to visit the castle." Beatrix felt a sense of suspicion, 'Why would the prince want me to visit?..'

"May I ask what is the reason for this sudden.. invitation from his highness?" Norman sighed, and close his eyes. "Even myself doesn't know what the prince is thinking, my apologies" Norman confessed in a sincere tone. Beatrix faced to the ground and thought about it thoroughly, 'It may be something serious that could potentially involve with the kingdom's safety, and more then that...I GET TO STEP IN A REAL CASTLE FOR THE FIRST TIME!!' When Norman opened his eyes, he was met by Beatrix cheeky expression about the thought of stepping inside a castle. "Ms Beatrix?..Are you okay?"

By Norman's husked tone, Beatrix snapped back into reality from daydreaming and her expression changed back into a serious one, again. "As a fellow woman who lives in the Clementina Kingdom, I will be sure to visit his royal highness. May I ask when?" Norman gave Beatrix a genuine smile and gave her a slight nod. "Tomorrow would be a good day to come and visit the prince, we will send someone to bring you to the castle at morning."

Beatrix respond with a smile and nodded, "Thank you for informing me, Mr Norman." Norman respond in a honey tone, "It would be my pleasure, Ms Beatrix" After their conversation, Norman went back to the castle after saying farewell to Beatrix. "Dear, you're still here?" Ruth noticed that Beatrix is still standing at the front door. "RUTH I GET TO STEP INSIDE A CASTLE!!!" Beatrix exclaimed and began to jump in joy.

Beatrix explained to Ruth about what happened and Ruth's expression turned to a worried one. "Beatrix dear, are you sure it would be safe to step in a very, nobel place?" Beatrix nods and holds Ruth's hand, "I'll be careful as I can, I'm sure they aren't on something bad. Please Ruth.." Ruth sigh and place one of her hands to Beatrix's cheek. "Alright.." Ruth smiled and her eyes focused on Beatrix. "What are you doing still standing around here??? Go and complete your schedule for today!" Ruth said in a joking tone and laughed. "Okay okay, I'll see you later, Ruth!" They hugged and Ruth kissed on top of Beatrix's head. "Get home before night falls!"

Beatrix waved goodbye to Ruth and went to meet with her friend, more like a tutor actually, Zoey Kyle. As Beatrix is walking along the rocky road, her mind keeps thinking about the invitation from his highness. 'Is it really safe to go?..Whatever, let's focus on the present first. I mean, what's the worst that could happen?..'

Excuse for my writings, I hope you all will like a new character I am going to be introducing, Zoey Kyle. Please again, excuse my grammar, English isn't my strongest language and I'm not fully a well professional writer as you can tell already but I'll try to improve myself everyday. I also want to apologise for not publishing chapter 2 last week. I was very busy and my days has been pretty tough lately so I just want to say I'm sorry and I will try to make it up to you guys.
