CHAPTER 1

Y/n's pov:

*Beep* *beep* the sound of my alarm going off woke me up, I groaned looking at the time 06:30am i got up out of bed and headed to the bathroom to shower. I usually took 30 minutes to shower but this time I took a 15 minute shower, today is a special day

I had just turned 17, my dad-tony stark-home schooled me all my life, he made a promise that the day I turn 17 is when I get to go to a public school, and I was hella excited, I didn't even have to get up this early but oh well here I am.

<<After shower>>

I put on my white 'i love NYC' oversized t shirt and black leggings with a pair of black Jordan 1s after that I brushed my teeth, did my hair and make-up and then I headed downstairs for breakfast

"good morning dad" I said cheerfully with a huge smile on my face "happy birthday!" He said as he pulled me into a tight hug "dad you're hugging me too tight", " oh sorry" he says pulling away "what time are you leaving?" He asked "soon" I replied "oh why so early?" He asked lifting one eyebrow "well I want to still explore the school and plus I just want to be there early" I said grabbing my school bag and an apple and headed straight to the door "aren't you going to eat breakfast?" My dad asked "no, I'm way too excited and I can't wait any longer to go to public school and meet new friends" I stated while smiling "well then off you go, I have a surprise waiting for you for when you get home" he said as I walked out.

I got in the car and happy opened the car door for me, I got in and we drove off "happy birthday miss stark" happy said looking at me through the rear view mirror "happy, I told you that you don't have to call me that but thanks anyway" I said and shot him a huge smile "are you excited to go to school?" He asked "very" i said whilst looking out the window to see the huge school building "byeee" I said to happy and I practically didn't even wait for the car to stop

Happy drove off and I stood there for a while, taking in the beautiful building and the loud school kids. As I stood there a boy knocked me over with his skateboard, we both fell, my head hit the ground but it didn't really hurt and the boy landed on top of me "hey watch it!" I yelled at him "oh sorry, didn't see you there" he said as he got up off of me and held his hand out for me to grab it so that he could help me up but I didn't take it and I walked off before he could say anything else.

I go to the principals office to get a timetable for my subjects

The bell rang and I looked around for room 202, I walked down the hallway and saw it, I went inside and all the kids were staring at me like I was some unknown creature "good morning miss..." The teacher said walking over to me "kids this is our new student, you will do your utmost best to make her feel welcomed, you may introduce yourself" she said "H-hi my name is y/n Jackson" I said shyly

I also had to make up a fake name since my dad is literally a superhero and he is well-known so I didn't want to expose identity for safety reasons "well good morning and welcome y/n, you may have a seat" she said and I walked right to the back where that was literally the only seat that was open

I sat down next to a boy "hey I'm ned" the boy said and I turned to face him "hi ned, I'm y/n, nice to meet you" I say holding out my hand for him to shake it "well if you need anything like a tour of the school, help with work, answers to your homework, just let me know" he stated and I smiled at him "alright children, obviously y/n will need a tour of the school, so ned you will be her tour guide" she said pointing to ned
