CHAPTER 2

I woke up by the sound of my alarm, I snoozed it and fell asleep again

*beep* *beep* I woke up again and saw the time.08:39am. School started like 40 minutes ago, I rushed to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, did my hair, put on deodorant and got dressed as fast as I could and ran downstairs as I rushed downstairs and out the door, I noticed no one was there, including happy because he usually drives me around

Luckily I knew a shortcut to school

I took it and In about 15 minutes I arrived, I ran to math class since that was were we were in third period

I barged through the door and everyone's eyes were on me

"Welcome miss Jackson, nice of you to come in 15 minutes late to my class" the teacher said sarcasticly "I'm so s-sorry" I said whilst trying to catch my breath "have a seat" the teacher said and I did as I was told

I sat next to peter so I made my way to my seat and I noticed he was staring at me, I just brushed it off and sat down. "I thought you weren't coming in today, what happened?" Peter asked "you're an hour late" he added "I umm I overslept, that's all" I said while I took out my note book "ahh I see, well at least you're here" he said and I smiled at him thinking about what he said last night

•bell rings•

The bell rang and it was lunch time, peter and I were in all the classes together so I decided to stick with him, we made our way to where ned and mj were sat and I greeted them "y/n where were you this morning? I didn't see you at your locker" mj stated "I just overslept" I said and she nodded her head

•bell rings•
(Time skip: home time)

I got home and saw that my dad was here "hey dad" I said hugging him "oh hey kiddo" he said hugging me back "where were you guys this morning?" I asked lifting one eyebrow "we were on a mission" he said "oh ok, well I'm heading up to my room now" I stated and as he turned around to walk

I remembered I forgot to ask him if I could go to Peter's house "oh hey dad, is it ok if I go to a friend's house?" I asked him nervously because I knew he would let me go if it was a boy "boy or girl?" He asked "boy" I stated

"it's ok, you can go" he said and that caught me by surprise

"wait really?" I asked not believing what I just heard him say

"Yes now go before I change my mind" he said I rushed up to my room to get ready

I was so excited

I then decided to shower since I didn't really shower this morning and I'm going to Peter's in 30 minutes, I got dressed and headed downstairs and out the door

I asked happy to drive me there because it was quicker and safer since I haven't really been in this area

We arrived, I got out of the car and went to knock on the door

I knocked twice and eventually someone opened the door, it was a lady she looked old but not that old "hello how may I help you?" She asked me "oh I uhh" I don't know why I couldn't get my words out but then luckily peter came "she's here for me" he said as he smiled at me "well then come in" the lady said signaling for me to come in "I'm may" she said holding her hand out for me to shake "I'm y/n, it's nice to meet you" I said shaking her hand

"Ned and mj are running a bit late, do you want to go to my room while we wait for them?" Peter asked and I nodded my head in response

We sat on his bed not saying a word and I looked around admiring the posters stuck on his wall "huge fan of Spider-Man I see" I said breaking the silence "hm?" He looked at me i confusion and I pointed at the huge spiderman poster on his wall "oh yeah" he said "me too" I said

We spoke for a few minutes until peter got a text from ned, saying that him and mj couldn't make it

"Well what do you want to do now? Watch a movie?" He asked and I said yes, we headed to the lounge and sat next to each other on the couch, keeping a good amount of space between us

"So what movie do you want to watch?" Peter asked while he switched on the TV "I'm cool with any movie" I said and looked at him while his focus was on the TV "how about we watch the conjuring?" He asked and I said yes of course because I love horror movies and I've never watched 'the conjuring' before, I've heard about it but I've never watched it

7:18pm

Peter got some popcorn and two Dr peppers and switched on the movie. A few minutes into the movie I got scared, I didn't want peter to know that I was scared but I think he definitely knew when I moved closer to him "hey what's wrong?" He asked pausing the movie "n-nothing, we can continue watching the movie" I said trying not to make eye contact with him but I think he knew I was scared

We continued watching the movie and moved closer to him because I was scared shitless, we were now only inches apart, soon I felt tired and fell asleep

10:56pm

I woke up laying on Peter's shoulder.

shit.

I hoped up "w-what is the time?" I asked peter "it's almost eleven o'clock" he responded "fuck, I-i'm so dead when I get home" I said and made my way to the door but before I opened it peter gently grabbed my hand "I can walk home with you" he said as I looked in his beautiful eyes "uhhh no it's ok, I'll text you when I get home" I said and rushed home

I eventually got home and when I went inside I didn't see dad anywhere 'phew' I thought to myself, he must've been asleep, I made my way up to my room, took my shoes off, not bothering to change into some pj's and plopped down on my bed

I took my phone out only to see that it was dead and plugged it in charge, I laid down on my bed looking up at the ceiling and before I knew it, I fell asleep
