7.2 𝐀𝐠𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

Few moments later, Brooke arrived at the scene. He had already left the manor and was waiting for your message on the way to school however your message never came. It made him worry like hell, especially since you were the person to do things right on time.

"So I got into a casualty" you replied after sitting near the convenience store. Sun had bought some bandages after feeling guilty for the injuries he caused while you had sat down on the pavement waiting for Brooke to arrive. You had somehow coaxed him to wait up so he could do something about his bicycle and it's failed brakes. You had spent the time eating snacks waiting for the butler.

"Thank goodness, you had me worried" Brooke replied before squinting at the unfamiliar male. "It's seems you've been making friends and overcame the shyness and nervousness against the opposite gender. I'm quite happy for you're progressing (n/n) " You choked on your drink.

You did NOT see that coming.

Your face flushed at the embarrassment with the unanticipated compliment as well as the mention of your nickname. You immediately jostled off the ground giving Sun a nervous smile while pulling Brooke away " Thank you, Brooke but I'd appreciate if you don't say such stuff in front of my friends." you gritted sending him a message.

To think you and Sun were associated with that. No thank you, you weren't Anna from frozen. Plus he wasn't even your friend. It irked you how people jumped to conclusions so quickly. You were just people who got into an accident and coincidentally belonged to the same school. And with his attitude, you doubted he had any kind of fond feelings for you.

He even sucked up the offer of repairing his breaks so quickly. Filthy selfish hypocrite. He really didn't let any opportunity pass.

" Ahhh I apologize Miss Kai. Is there a problem gentlemen? " He then turned to Sun, who was looking at his bike. Over Brooke's words, he scowled with the are-you-dumb look.

"Of course! The breaks are failed by some weird ass motherfucker who I don't even know. I was nearly gonna die " Brooke was definitely astonished by his bluntness.

"And you were gonna kill me too" you mocked sarcastically.

"What? Don't think just because we had a little chat means we're friends. You're only compensating for the loss you caused. "

"Hah! " you scoffed "Is that why you brought me the bandage? To compensate for the compensation ? Wow you have such a big heart"

Brooke meanwhile stood at the side awkwardly, watching the two of you bickering but putting no efforts into stopping it. Maybe he was just a bit sentimental? Miss Kai had grown so much that now instead of pissing her pants only after hearing the name 'guy' she was now actually fighting with one.

Yep, you definitely jumped leveled up.

But deep down, Brooke felt..... apprehensive. He had seen a lot of changes in Y/N as of late. And these changes weren't minor. On the contrary, they were drastic and he was completely confused as well as intrigued to see a new person standing in front of him.

Eventually few minutes later , the entire farce came to an end. Brooke helped Sun repair his bicycle from a nearby shop and throughout the procedure both you and him couldn't help but bicker since Brooke was not only focusing on getting the bike's braked repaired but also refining the other details.

You felt an irk mark appear on your forehead over this"I swear if you act all high and mighty after the bike gets repaired--"

"What would you do? Cry like baby? "

"I'll punch your stomach and feed you expired snacks so you would go to a heavenly trip to the bathroom"

"This reminds me never to take anything from you. Ever"

"Hah, as if I'll offer you anything good! This whole thing was a mistake! I should have never agreed to this and who's is accepting the--"

While you were bickering Brooke interfered and beamed "Your bike has been refined and is just as new, Young man! You can collect it from that assistant over there! "

Sun's eyes glinted admirably as he watched his new bike and with a surge of excitement, he rushed towards it, barely able to contain his joy. For the next couple of minutes he continued gasping and admiring the new additions made towards the bike cycle.

"Holy shit look at those shiny wheels!" Sun exclaimed, running his fingers along the polished rims. "They're so smooth and elegant, just like a sports car! You totally transformed it to something else dude!!!"He moved his gaze towards the handlebars, his excitement rising. "And these grips! They're cushions oh my god! The latest update in the market! I never thought I'd get these! I can conquer any ride with these babies!"

Sun's enthusiasm only grew as he examined the frame and you couldn't help but cringe and chuckle the way his voice cracked with every heigh-shrieking praise "The color! Oh my God, the color! It's a dazzling combination of vibrant red and sleek black. It's like this bicycle was custom-made just for me! I can see myself zooming through the streets, turning heads wherever I go!"

He looked like a child jumping up and down after receiving his new toy which was cute but cringey. However you did think his compensation of a bandage was unsatisfactory in comparison to what Brooke had done. You squinted at Brooke darkly. He chuckled humorlessly and shrugged while Sun continued his rantings. " Look at these gears! These fucking gears!!!! So many options to choose from! I can conquer steep hills and race through smooth roads with ease. This bike is a powerhouse of possibilities!"

Well he was looking too far into the future... You flushed when you spotted the nearby people looking at his eccentric behavior. That's when you realised you needed to calm down his excitement. "Okay okay fine. We get it you're happy. Try to contain your excitement a bit--"

With a burst of energy, Sun pedaled forward and whooshed right next to you feeling the bike respond effortlessly. You jumped and squeaked. "HEY YOU WERE GOING TO DASH ME THE SECOND TIME YOU FREAK-"

"Woohoo! This is incredible! I feel like I'm flying! I'm the king of the road!" But Sun didn't play attention,he was just too lost in his own joy to speak to anyone. His laughter echoed, he got off the garage and turned and disappeared around the corner.

Was he fucking crazy?! You continued to gasp trying to calm your erratic heart beat. He really had the audacity to ride over you for the second time?!

"Maybe he's talking it for a ride." Brooke remarked "That man has great enthusiasm. Let him enjoy for a while" he complimented and you glared how partial Brooke was being. Was it because he thought Kai had made a new friend in a while? Maybe....

Hmm, maybe you'll let this pass....

You waited a couple of minutes for him to return.... Only to realise he never did. "WHERE THE FUCK IS HE?! HE'S GONE FOR AN HOUR!" You glared at your butler who adjusted his spectacles.

"I... Guess the young gentleman went home? " he stammered.

"WENT HOME? " You shrilled. That's when you realised you had over helped him while he under helped you. "I'm going to kill him the next time I see him . Let's get going! All of this has just triggered my hunger. We definitely need a good stomach-filling meal to calm down this exasperation" you declared.

"Yes, (n/n) " Brooke replied and ushered you back to the car.
