Hell's Demon Slayers

1-3: HALLS OF SACRED REMAINS

"Seriously? They had to make it more complicated?"

Tengen sighed as he left the start room and saw a locked door with two pedestals; one red and one blue. On his sides were two doors as well, which one they entered first was up to them. Rengoku went to the door nearest to the red pedestal and opened it. A courtyard-esque room was present, and nine Strays and two Streetcleaners spawned nearby.

"Not these things again..", Rengoku muttered as the Streetcleaners ran at him.

"Flame Breathing, Second Form: Rising Scorching Sun!"

Just as the Streetcleaners were about to unleash their flames, Rengoku dashed close to them and slashed their flamethrowers in half. He swiftly decapitated both and kicked one away near Tengen. Tengen's eyes locked on the Streetcleaners' back; a gas tank visible.

"Hey, I have an idea..", Tengen said, before picking up a Streetcleaner's body and throwing it at a horde of Strays. He got his Piercer out and shot the gas tank, which exploded upon the bullet's impact, taking out the Strays as a result.

"Haha, these things are like portable bombs!", Tengen said before completely taking off a Streetcleaner's gas tank and throwing it at the other half of Strays, wiping them out instantaneously. Four Schisms and five Drones took their spot.

Gyomei threw his flail at the Drones, smashing them apart one by one. He threw his axe at the Schisms, wiping out two of them. He retracted his flail and axe back to himself.

"Stone Breathing, Fourth Form: Volcanic Rock, Rapid Conquest."

Gyomei manipulated his flail and axe to hit both targets at once, soon clearing the room as fast as it was filled. As both enemies died, the sound of stone could be heard breaking; a Cerberus was freeing itself from its restraints.

"I'll take care of this!", Tengen exclaimed. He ran at the Cerberus, rapidly slashing up its body. As the Cerberus was about to stomp down, Tengen blocked its leg with both blades and knocked it to the ground.

"Sound Breathing, First Form: Roar!"

Tengen slammed his blades down on the Cerberus, causing it to crumble to pieces. "Bravo, bravo!", Rengoku clapped enthusiastically. Tengen did a small bow before heading to the next room. This room consisted of several flights of stairs and lava on the bottom of the floor. Four Strays and two Schisms spawned in. With his long range, Gyomei took care of both relatively easily, which spawned two Streetcleaners and four Drones.

"You know, I've thought about this before, but the bird noises stop when these machines are killed.", Obanai said, throwing a Drone at a Schism. "Maybe these are the things that produce the chirps. This entire place is artificial."

"Great observation, Obanai!", Rengoku beamed, slashing apart one of the two Malicious Faces that spawned.

"Wha? So the plants and trees and everything really are all fake?", Mitsuri replied, dodging a yellow laser from a Maurice.

"Yes, I've been trying to tell you this..", Obanai sighed. As the two Malicious Faces fell, the next room was opened.

It was a large church-like arena, with stained glass on the walls as decoration. The beauty of the room was cut short when several Filths, Drones, and Streetcleaners spawned in, ambushing the Hashira each. Sanemi decimated the Filths that ran at him, while Gyomei took care of the Drones and Streetcleaners. A Malicious Face and six Strays appeared immediately after the last Streetcleaner was killed.

Obanai maneuvered around the Strays, making the Malicious Face's projectiles mow down the husks. Tengen took care of the Maurice with his Attractor Nailgun.
