Welcome to "Rain From Hell," a collaborative project between myself (Relreal) and my talented friend, Caity (EverythingsNothing). We're thrilled to share this gripping tale with you, and we hope you'll join us on this thrilling journey through the aftermath of World War Three.
"Rain From Hell" follows the intertwining paths of Brynn McCallan and Wayne Turner as they navigate a desolate world ravaged by nuclear chaos. Set against the backdrop of war-torn landscapes and looming threats, our protagonists must confront their deepest fears, forge unlikely alliances, and discover the strength within themselves to survive.
This is for the ONC 2024! It's my first time, and Caity's second participating in the annual competition. The main prompt we're using:
"When life gives you balloons, you fly up into the sky."
There are a few side prompts as well:
A midnight stroll and a meeting with a frantic stranger.
"You're like snow. Beautiful but cold."
"I will become as monstrous as I must."
This story would not have been possible without Caity's incredible creativity, passion, and dedication. Her unique perspective and collaborative spirit have enriched every aspect of "Rain From Hell," and I'm grateful for the opportunity to embark on this writing adventure together.
