Chapter One

- Third POV -

A sunny day is over the city of New Orleans. The supernatural conflict between the vampires, werewolves and the witches remain.

Marcel and his vampires are partying at the St. Jamee Infirmary.

Callahan and Keelin, and the Crescent Wolves are spending time with each other.

And the witches, Vincent and Ivy, are at the St. Anne's Church, handing out boxes of canned goods and other things.

ST. LOUIS CATHEDRAL

Klaus and Elijah are with Mathias at a table with a map. Mathias is doing a locator spell to locate Aurora.

"Aurora can be anywhere in New Orleans, but she's smart enough to know you're looking for her." Mathias said to Klaus.

"She must have a witch aiding her." Elijah said.

"It explains why she's cloaked." Klaus added with his arms folded.

"Freya and I both has tried many locator spells, but to no avail." said Mathias. "So, what do we do now?"

"Aurora is magically cloaked, so, she'll show herself unexpectedly." Klaus said, and walks away.

MIKAELSON COMPOUND

Later that day, Klaus is looking at his personal canvas paintings of his wife, Christy Mikaelson. He then, looks at a picture frame of himself and Christy at Rebekah's formal party smiles. Which she made him smile.

Klaus small smiles at the picture frame of himself and Christy. But he missed her and waited for her to come back home.

MAX'S AND GIA'S PENTHOUSE

In the sunny bedroom, Max lays in bed, still asleep, wearing a sleeveless shirt and plaid pajama pants.

There's a medallion tattoo on the left side of his backside shoulder, another one on his right upper shoulder and another one on his right side chest.

A 5-year old Marion with her plush teddy bear and unicorn slowly walks inside, wearing her pajamas.

"Daddy?" Marion said, walking up to her Dad and gently crawls up to the bed and gently runs her small hand in his dark blonde hair. "Wake up, Daddy. Wake up."

Max stirs awake and looks at his daughter with a smile. "Hello, sweetie." He spoke in his British accent.

"Hi, Daddy." Marion greeted him with a smile.

"What's Mommy up to?" Max asked.

"Pancakes with syrup." Marion told him.

"Pancakes with syrup? Sounds good." Max said.

Max and Marion both gets up from bed. They both hold each other's hands as they walk into the kitchen.

Gia is at the kitchen countertop with a charcuterie board with pancakes.

"Hey, Maxy." Gia greeted her husband.

"Hello, Darling." Max greeted back his wife.

Max and Gia shares a kiss and he takes a pancake and eats on it.

"I'm gonna take Marion to the schoolhouse at Mount Orasani." Max said.

"Okay, and I'm gonna see if Marcel needs any help with anything." Gia said.
