New school

Aether was walking through the hallways of his new school with his best friend when he spotted a familiar face.  

"Cyno, did you do your homework?" the raven haired boy asked. "There was homework?!" the white hair standing beside him gasped. 

"Aether?? hello?? Earth to Aether!" Tighnari said waving a hand in front of Aether's eyes. "Oh right, yes Tighnari?" Tighnari sighed. "You zoned out. What were you thinking anyway?" 

Tighnari looked at the direction Aether was looking at and saw the group of 3. "Oh?" he raised an eyebrow. "Isn't he the boy that came to our shop a few days ago..." Aether nodded. 

"yeah...i didn't know he came to this school" Tighnari was about to continue walking when he saw the light in Aether's eyes. "well, do you wanna go to them?" Aether turned to him with sparkling eyes as Tighnari sighed. 

The two boys made their way to the group. Xiao immediately turned around when he say Aether. Aether smiled and waved at him making Cyno confused. 

"Hi Xiao!!" Aether walked up to them with Tighnari following him. Xiao awkwardly waved back making Cyno and the brunette's jaw drop. 

"You weren't joking about made friends?!" the girl screamed in shock. Cyno was surprised ofc but his eyes were too busy on the boy behind Aether. 

"Aether! Don't run off like that!" Tighnari said finally catching up with Aether. "Hiii, you must be Aether! Xiao talks about you ALOT" the brunette said shaking the blonde's hand while Xiao gave her a death stare. 

"I thought he was imagining thing-" "WILL YOU SHUT UP HU TAO?!" Hu tao was cut of Cyno. Everyone looked at him confused as he walked over to Tighnari (cynari warning). Cyno tooked Tighnari's hand and kissed it softly sending shivers down his spine. 

"Who may you be my dear?" Cyno said making the others confused af. Tighnari quickly take back his hand with a face as red as a tomato. He turned to Aether with a face saying 'who is this freak?'

Then he dragged Aether out of the group. "See you soon uh Xiao? Is that your name?" Xiao nodded and Tighnari smiled before dragging Aether all the way to the hallways. "Since when do you act so close with strangers you met a few days ago"

He glared at him. "I'm not acting like that..!" he flustered in red. Tighnari rolled his eyes before continuing town the hallways. 

After a while of walking, a brunette girl came up to them. "Hey! You two must be new here. I'm Amber! I can show you guys around if you'd like!" She smiled widely. The two nodded and followed the girl. 

While walking they introduced themselves. "I'm Aether and this is my best friend Tighnari!" He smiled at her. "Well is nice to meet you both, oh you guys are first years right? I'm also a first year. We can hang out!" 

They nodded and chatted with her for a while. "And finally, here's the cafeteria!" As soon s she spoke her last words the bell rang. "And that's the bell, see you guys soon" She said goodbye before running  off. 

<Aether's pov> 

I walked into my classroom and my jaw dropped as i saw the boy sitting next to MY seat! It was Xiao! Not only i was in the same school as him, i was also sat next to him?? 

This was great, i could get to know him more. And the brunette girl from earlier was sitting just 5 seats away from us. She looked at me with a smirk as i thought how odd she acts. Maybe i could ask Xiao about her. 

I took a seat besides him and tapped his shoulder. "You there Xiao?" He turned around and jumped when he saw me. His face was so cute! I laughed as he just blushed out of embarrassment. 

Soon a blonde haired lady entered our class. "hello class, I'm Miss jean. Your new science teacher because the other teacher quit."

After class

"hey Xiao, do you wanna lunch together?" he nodded. 'how cold' i thought before taking his hand and walking to the cafeteria. I saw the brunette girl smirking at us before we left. 

We sat down at a table after grabbing our food. I built up my courage and asked him about her. "Uh Xiao, who's that brunette girl with you this morning?" he swallowed his food before speaking. 

"That's my stupid cousin. Her name is Hu tao. I know she's really weird but her parents own a funeral so" 

'A cousin?'
