Izumi Miyamura scrolled through his smartphone and noticed that someone was calling him. Upon answering the call, he realized that it was from none other than his brother Shinji Miyamura. He was the oldest of the Miyamura siblings consisting of Izumi Miyamura and himself, Shinji Miyamura.

Shinji stated that he was curious about his little brother's new girlfriend, Remi Ayasaki, who was also a first year like Izumi. Remi was also the popular girl in their class. She had long pink hair, pale skin and beautiful pink eyes. Izumi was taken aback by this.

"So, how did you two meet?" Shinji asked

"Well, you see..." Miyamura began

Izumi was taken aback by this question and could not tell his brother that he and Remi only met because they were in the same class as their friends: Kakeru Sengoku, Kono Sakura, Kyoko Hori, Toru Ishikawa, Toru's girlfriend Yuki Yoshikawa, and Akane Yanagi.

He thought that Shinji would mock him. Izumi then revealed that he and Remi were in the same class as high school freshmen. Izumi was still a bespectacled introvert back then and Remi was curious about him. Remi went up to the school rooftop on the same day, and she saw Izumi's cool side, long dark hair pushed back, pale skin, blue eyes and an abundance of ear piercings. Even as second year students, they were still in the same class as their friends. This is how Izumi and Shinji's conversation played out... "I then learned that Remi was secretly a gyaru. She was also an anime otaku like me." Izumi said

"She had this whole other side to her that no one else knew about. We bonded over our love for anime and manga, spending hours talking about our favourite shows and characters. It was like we had our own little world within our friend group."

Shinji listened intently, his curiosity piqued. "So, how did you two go from classmates to being in a relationship?"

Izumi smiled, reminiscing about the early days of their relationship. "Well, it all started with a simple act of kindness. One day, I noticed that Remi was feeling down, so I decided to cheer her up by lending her my favourite manga. Little did I know, that small gesture would be the beginning of something beautiful."

He continued, "Remi was so grateful for the manga that she couldn't stop thanking me. We started spending more time together, sharing our thoughts and feelings about the stories we loved. As we got to know each other better, our friendship blossomed into something more."

Shinji chuckled, teasingly asking, "Did you confess your love to her in some grand romantic gesture?"

Izumi blushed, feeling a mix of embarrassment and happiness. "Actually, it was quite the opposite. We were sitting on the school rooftop, just like the day Remi first saw my true self. It was a quiet and peaceful moment, and I couldn't help but blurt out my feelings for her. I was so nervous, but Remi just smiled and confessed that she felt the same way."

Shinji's teasing smile softened into a genuine one. "I'm glad you found someone who appreciates you for who you are, Izumi. You deserve to be happy."

Izumi nodded, grateful for his brother's support. "Thank you, Shinji. Remi has brought so much joy and love into my life. I couldn't ask for a better girlfriend."

As the conversation came to an end, Izumi couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. He realized that his brother's questions weren't meant to mock him, but rather to understand and connect with him on a deeper level. And in sharing his story, Izumi felt a renewed sense of pride in his relationship with Remi, knowing that their love had blossomed from a genuine connection and shared interests.
