Part 2-Caleb.T.Gates

Caleb Tyehyung Gates (born June 21), better known online as C.Gates or SeaGates or C.G, is a Swiss-Korean-American YouTuber and streamer known for his gaming, reaction and commentary content. He is most well-known, however, for his videos discussing his complicated and multicultural heritage and ethnicity with him being ¼ Korean, 1/8 Cherokee, 1/8 English, ½ Brazilian ½ Ugandan and ½ Swiss.

Physical Appearance

Thanks to his unique ethnic background, Caleb is blessed his green almond shaped eyes, chilled and angular features, porcelain oaken hued skin and disheveled jet black hair. He is six feet tall and has a well built physique which rivals those of fitness YouTubers. In essence, Caleb Gates is the personification of "Tall, Dark and handsome" which works well as well as contrasts with his low, sultry accent and sunny personality.

BIRTH AND EARLY LIFE

Caleb was born on 14th July in Bern, Switzerland to Min Su Gates (nee Hwang) , an attorney and Elias Rodrigo Gates, a statistical analyst. Min Su was a half Korean half African American woman while Elias Gates was a half Swiss and half Brazilian man. Caleb grew up in Seoul, South Korea. This move was made largely due to Min Su wanting her son to grow up in the rigorous Korean education system so he would excel academically.

While studying in the Korean education system, Caleb found solace in his popularity. The reason for his popularity was because he looked like a foreigner with his green eyes, oaken hued skin, angular and chiseled features and black hair and the fact that he had a western first and last name. Caleb made up stories about how he was an American exchange student and was the nephew of Bill Gates. Min Su and Caleb's maternal grandfather, Byung Ho Hwang, were very big on manners, being polite, studious, and obedient towards elders so that he would not bring dishonor upon his family.

At age 5, Caleb became a big brother to Soren Min-ho Gates and at age 6, a big brother to Hugo Ji-hoon Gates. At age 10 he and his brothers would finally get their life long wish of having a sister with the birth of the youngest child in the family: Sofia Soo-Jin Gates. From his Grandfather Byung Ho,  Caleb adopted the idea that, as the oldest child, he should be strong and endure any hardships for his younger siblings.

In school, though Caleb was popular, he would spend most of his time with his siblings. He helped them with their studies and cooked for them as their parents were too busy with full time jobs. He never picked fights in school bar from when his siblings were bulied

In school, Caleb was quite good at math and science but didn't care much for his grades. He instead played sports and was the captain of his school's swim team both in Korea and later in North Carolina.

Every summer and winter, Caleb and his parents would visit his dad's family in Bern where he developed his famous exotic Korean-Swiss-American accent. He especially enjoyed spending winter with his dad's family as he would get to play in snow and go skiing with his cousins.

It was because of this popularity that Caleb was very cross about his family moving to North Carolina when he was fourteen. Once again, Caleb was the popular kid due to his exotic features and accent. Although none of his peers spoke English in Korea, his parents had put great emphasis on teaching him proper English and Swiss German at home.

Coming to the much more relaxed American education system from the intense Korean education system, Caleb found his studies easy and hence fun. He developed a liking for studying and was the valedictorian of his graduating class.

MEETING MR. BEAST AND PRIYA JAI

Much like Priya, Caleb grew up watching youtubers and gammers and was hence realy excited to be selected as the sixteen-year-old in Mr. Beast's "Ages 1-100 Fight for $500,000" Jimmy really conntected with Caleb and his easy going personality. He even states that Caleb remindes him of how he was as a teenager. But Caleb and Priyanka's became the highlight of the episode so much so that Jimmy invited Caleb to come on to participate in more videos.
