Pia and Caleb traveled to Seoul, South Korea on 20th December to celebrate Christmas with Caleb's family. It was Pia's first time celebrating Christmas though she'd seen others celebrate Christmas growing up in the US. The two had been to celebrate Diwali, Ganesh Chaturthi, Holi and many other festivals in India.
The two were most excited as this christmas would be their first date as in Korea, Christmas is a romantic celebration like a second valentines day (well, third)
Caleb's family hanok house which was decked out with traditional decorations like of silk slippers and drums. Pia went Christmas shopping with Caleb and his family. Shops and streets were fully decked out in twinkling lights and decorations designed to encourage shoppers to get into the Christmas spirit with spectacular lights, creating a magical atmosphere.
On 25th December or Korean Christmas, Caleb and Pia went on their date. They went ice skating and sledding during the day, ate Korean fried chicken and strawberry Korean Christmas cake for lunch, enjoyed the road festivities in the noon and had an expensive Korean barbecue for dinner. They went to stay in a romantic yeogwan and watched a Christmas movie.
