Chapter 2

~CATHERINE'S POV~

I sucked in my breath deeply rising from my sleep taking in my surroundings in panick.

"Oh heavens it was just a dream." I said excitedly.

"It was just a bloody nightmare actually. " I said to myself getting up from my bed and heading to the bathroom. Once I was done I went up to my body size mirror.

"You are beautiful, talented, smart and have a perfect life."

"You are beautiful, talented, smart and have a perfect life. " I repeated three times to my reflection before turning sharply on my heels and glanced at the hanging image of my sister.

I went downstairs to head out for school.

"Honey, will you join us for breakfast today? " I don't even know why she even bothered.

I just ignored her and walked out of the door before taking a glance at my family.

I walked into my truck and slammed the door.

"Wow someone had a rough night." I snapped my neck in the back seat of my truck to find a handsome, gorgeous brunette guy sitting comfortably in my truck.

"Who the hell are you?" I asked with anger.

"I'm the guy you tried to kill with a lamp last night" my heart started to pick up its pace as he said that.

No, it can't be. I was just dreaming. It was just a dream. Its impossible.

"Yes, its possible Cathy. You died last night." His words rang in my ear.

I ignored him. I'm I going crazy?

"No, of course you are not going crazy." He let out a hearty laugh until something hit me...well figuratively. He was reading my thoughts.

"Get out of my car right now!" I yelled in panic.

"You could've just thought it. No need to scream. " he sighed rolling his eyes, but yet not moving.

I turned my head and grabbed my phone from my dash board and turned back to him throwing it with all my strength, but the phone hit the seat instead. He was gone and my car was empty.

"Okay Cathy you are not crazy. You are not crazy." I said to myself taking deep breaths before starting the car and driving off.

Just like every other day. My friends came rushing to my car.

"Hey Cathy"

"Nice outfit."

"Gee honey you look pale." Amanda finished off.

"Yeah, I just had a rough night." I said rubbing my eyes and as soon as I opened them up again he was there.

"What the hell do you want this time?"I growled. I wonder how he managed to just disappear this morning.

"I came to help you. " he responded casually.

"I don't need your help" I said rolling my eyes.

"Yes you do." He sang. "And oh by the way. You are the only one who can see me." He bursted into laughter.

All my friends had puzzeled confused looks on their faces.

"Are you okay hun?" Amanda asked letting out a nervous laugh.

"I-" I stopped when I couldn't see 'him' anymore. "I have to go." I said running off in the direction of the school leaving my friends behind.

I got into the school hall and saw Dave approaching me and all of a sudden I saw an angel crown forming on top of his head.
