There was always mysteries in this world. Heck, you might even be able to look out your back yard and see a mystery waiting to be solved. One mystery though, that would probably never be solved, was those missing kids. They were Grandma's old friends, from that photo. One night, in the cold grasp of winter, the trio supposedly sneaked out of their houses and left to meet at their base. The base was thought to be a tree-house, but no one was absolutely sure.  One day, he had enough. No one believed him  when he told people about what had happened to Luna. His sister even mocked him. If they saw it, Axel thought, That might teach them! They might believe me then!

So, the next day he decided to lead them to the area. It was a nice, cool, fall day and the soft crunch of leaves was everywhere. "Here! Here! Come one! It's not too far now!" Axel sprung, excited to maybe have some more people on his side. He hadn't brought his grandmother, she already believed him. Meanwhile his sister, Lizzy, groaned the whole time. She had her phone, and was just staring at it, constantly tapping whatever app she was on. Though, once she ran into a tree face-first, then tripped over a rock, and went on the wrong path, so after a while Axel's mum told her to, "Just look at the scenery." or, "Stop staring at the phone!" Soon, the tree house was in sight. "See! Right here! She is right..." He trailed off. The body was no longer there..? Thought Axel. He was confused, stressed, and most of all, scared. "W-Wait... s-she w-was h-here!" shuddered Axel, "Yeah, yeah, I'm sure she was." Spoke Lizzy, rolling her eyes. "Honey, I know it's hard with the disappearance of Luna, but making stories doesn't help." Axel's mum, Luciana added. "Come on dear, let's go home, don't you agree Simon?" ... no response.  "Dad?" Axel called. Still no response. Suddenly, a loud crack filled the air, everyone turned in fear. The sound after made a shiver go down everyone's spine. A scream. An ear-shattering scream of a man pierced the air. Everyone whipped around to see Axel's father, Simon, dead with a frog croaking right next to him. Lizzy's face displayed pure horror, Luciana froze in place. "D-Dad??!" Lizzy screamed. Suddenly, Axel's mum fell face first with no movement whatsoever. Standing behind her the black and white girl stood. She picked her knife back up, and with a smile said, "Who would have known you would become orphans today?"
