Lance went back to red and this time sat down. They got a message about a galra station that lost its radiation shield. They went and helped but Allura was gonna get zapped by a broken plate, Lance flew in and got her out of the way and Red was dead in space. Allura was in and saw Lance was unconscious, she checked and he wasn't breathing and didn't have a pulse "... If it's lose you again or help you through a relapse I know my choice" Allura opened the vial and poured it in Lance's mouth. Lance's marks lit up as his eyes opened slightly "What...! Alla you didn't" Lance put a hand on his throat and looked at Allura betrayed. They fixed the plate and went back to the castle but Lance avoided Allura. Keith went up to him "Lance what happened?" Lance thought for a bit and signed 'nothing. Just... Just saw my dad' Lance walked away as the fog set in causing him to stubble "Quiznack! Oh, double quiznack. Blame Allura she used it" Keith helped Lance to his room "If you could talk why sign?" Lance looked down "I didn't want to give him that satisfaction... I didn't lie tho... I died in there and saw my dad. For a second I gave up on revenge and just wanted to talk to him but I couldn't." Keith hugged him "Well now you can propose lover boy" Lance giggled slightly "Down the line Chaton" Keith blushed slightly and just his luck that's when Shiro came around the corner "Lance got you blushing in sign? smooth" Lance smirked and rubbed his eyes as he saw a purple haze around Shiro and looked to Keith 'Let's not tell him. This is funny' Keith rolled his eyes and sighed "Really Lance? We have to tell him" Shiro was confused but Keith spoke up "Allura gave him drugs and healed his throat but it is dangerous for him." Shiro looked at Lance "Really?" Lance sighed "I didn't want to use it. I got it from Lotor and I wasn't gonna use it cause I wasn't willing to go through the withdrawals again" Keith helped Lance stand "Lance you ok?" Lance looked to Keith and nodded "Just I got really dizzy all of a sudden" Keith brought Lance back to his room.

It was a hard time for Lance and to make things worse Keith was called on a blade mission with his mother to find a source of undocumented quintessence. Lance went to the blades to talk and sighed "I know the source of that energy... It's alteans. I can lead you through the quantum abyss, Me and Lotor flew through it on a monthly basis. If I do I have one condition, I get one of those masks! They saw my face and I don't know if they know what's happening but I can't show my face to them" Kolivan thought for a minute "We'll get you a whole suit but in return, we ask you to give us any info you know that would help our cause" Lance nodded and Keith went to his side "hows the fog?" Lance leaned his head on Keith "worse than ever. I was clean for 10 years." Krolia looked at her son and his friend "Is that consent?" Lance sighed "I get episodes. I used to just pass out so improvement" Keith gently stoked Lance's head "Yeah. Don't worry sir I'll keep him lucid. He is the only one that knows that part of space" Lance smiled slightly as his head started spinning "Keith... I need to get away from that jar" Keith picked Lance up and his eyes widened "When did you last eat something?" Lance looked down "I don't remember... When I left the McClain house... I used lunch to study in the garrison and since being out here I didn't have the stomach to eat so I guess the last time I had a proper meal was a few months ago... since I went to red" Korlia glared "No son in law of mine starves! Keith bring him to the kitchen" Lance was scared and held on tight to Keith as his throat tightened, The last time someone forced something down his throat it was the cause of his current situation. Keith put him down in a chair and Korlia got some nice-looking food and cut it up in small bits for Lance, Lance held his head as tears fell from his eyes but there was a smile on his face "Dear what the matter?"

 Lance choked back sobs "I missed this... Both my moms loved me like this and I'm just sad that I might never get that back..." Keith looked confused "You can return to earth with us... You and Allura" Lance shook his head "I know too much... I've done things..." Korlia put a hand on Lance's shoulder "I killed millions, Lance. Killing two galra isn't anything" Lance shook his head "You don't understand... the original Alteans in that colony... I got them in there... their blood is on my hands and all the Alteans that died in there... I have so many deaths on my hands I can never be clean... Before no one knew about aliens now people will ask... I can't" Korlia sighed and stepped back "If that's truly how you feel I'll do it when you want... away from the team and they won't have to worry about not caring. I can say that I was taking care of loose ends and stopping anyone who knew about the colony" Lance nodded and ate slowly "I'll hold you to that" his voice was sorrowful and hollow. When they head out to the quantum abyss Lance looked around and suddenly a wolf cub appeared in the cock pit "Stella! Oh, who's a good girl!" Lance pet the cub and Keith smiled slightly "You know her?" Lance nodded "She's a cosmic wolf. They can teleport but you have to earn their trust. She's mine. There are places in the abyss where time stops and I put her in one of them... I take her out when I'm here but I forgot she was here" Stella smelled Keith and licked him Lance giggled "She likes you." Korlia nearly crashed and Lance had to land it quickly "And there goes the engine. Let's go I know a way" Stella pulled Keith away to a puppy that was stuck in some bushes. Keith cut away the branches and freed the puppy and he ran to Keith, he picked up the puppy and petted him "Cute... I'm keeping you. Lance when we're leaving we are taking the pups" Lance smiled slightly. When they got to the colony Lance put the mask on and changed his long white hair to black. They went in and saw Romelle and Lance get knocked out. When he came through he was in one of the houses with a very worried Romelle "Oh quiznack! I'm so sorry I heard there was an Altean with Lotor but I saw the Galra outfit and assumed" Lance sat up "I used the galra outfit so I wouldn't be recognized. I'm the reason you all are trapped here."
