"You look awful" Damian opened his eyes, not remembering closing them in the first place. It was dark now, he must have drifted off in the cave. Damian had found himself doing that a lot recently. He blinked a few times letting his eyes adjust till he could make out the figure standing next to him.
"Todd what are you still doing up" A yawn accidentally escaped from his lips.
"It's Friday" the boy reminded him "You missed dinner, B didn't want to wake you, Alfred has a plate waiting for you in the oven"
"I'll come up when I'm through" Damian responded trying to wave him off but it was to no avail. Jason was just as stubborn as any other member of the bats.
"You need food and a real bed" he insisted
"I'm almost through" He promised.
"Yeah, I've heard that before" the boy huffed clearly unconvinced "Five minutes and I'm dragging you upstairs"
"I'd like to see you try" Damian huffed in amusement.
"What are you working on?" he asked curiously looking over the computer screen.
"Outlaw case" Damian responded with a slight tiredness.
"Still no luck?" Jason asked eyes glued to the screen as he looked over the information.
"No" Damian grunted.
"I hate to admit it but these guys are good, maybe taking a step back would help" Jason responded causing Damian to raise an eyebrow.
"Pennyworth?" he asked already knowing the answer.
"Yeah," the younger replied.
"I suppose I should take a break or next he'll send father" Damian sighed reaching down for the wheels of his chair and slowly moving back.
