Chapter 5: A Day Together

The next morning, as they gathered early with their friends for breakfast, Lucas couldn't help but steal glances at Sofia, his heart filled with anticipation for the day ahead.

And when she finally approached him with a smile, her eyes alight with excitement, he knew that their adventure was only just beginning.

"Sofia," Lucas began, unable to contain his enthusiasm, "Did you ask your dad about today?"

Sofia nodded eagerly, her smile widening. "Yes, Lucas. He said it was fine for us to spend the day together!"

Lucas grinned, his heart soaring with joy. "That's fantastic, Sofia! I can't wait to see what the day has in store for us."

"Is it really okay, if we stayed at Llwynywermod?" Sofia asked

"Absolutely, it's one of the Royal Residences. So, we'll be fine."

They prepared for their trip and an hour later Michael, their driver arrived

"You didn't say that we're going on a hike!" Sofia said, exhausted. Lucas was having an adrenaline rush that he couldn't even feel the exhaustion

"Sorry, Bourbon. How about I give you a piggyback ride?" The Prince suggested, his voice filled with lightheartedness.

Sofia's eyes widened with surprise, but she couldn't help but laugh at the unexpected offer. "Are you serious, Lucas? You think you can handle it?"

Lucas chuckled, his confidence unwavering. "Absolutely! Come on, it'll be fun."

With a shrug and a smile, Sofia agreed, realizing that a piggyback ride from Lucas would undoubtedly add an extra dose of adventure to their road trip.
